I love beheading ponies, heheh. But this one has me totally beaten.
I'm trying to get the head off of a G4 seapony - you know the ones that have a clear body with colourful liquid inside, and the liquid 'disappears' when you turn the pony upside down?
I'd guess there must be a chamber inside the head, that the coloured liquid goes into when the pony is turned. I have to assume this, cos the head is attached so well that it doesn't turn. But I want that head off, because there is such a stupid open-mouthed lollopy expression on there that I don't want my custom to have
Has anybody tried removing one of these seapony heads before, and if so, how did you do it, please? I've tried hottest tap water, and then boiling water, in a vain attempt to soften the glue even a tiny bit - if I could get even a tiny gap, I can get something in there that has a chance of dissolving the glue properly. That hasn't worked - I guess Hasbro do NOT want these heads to come off!
