Yeah, the HQG1C people did make that pony. I think it was in the sitting pose? I forget now. I've never been that interested in her tbh, I never saw RaMC until I was 13 or 14 anyway.

I wonder whether BF have done any wider research into a potential market for G3 retros? I know they did that handful of them, but there haven't been any others since...I would imagine there'd need to be a collective push (like G1/Celestials had) to make them notice,  let alone some consensus as to which ones most needed to be made...

 G3 came out in 2003 (officially), which is 21 years ago. Maybe in 4 years time they might look at it, but it seems a bit early considering G1 didn't have any anniversary stuff till 25.

100% agree on the eyeless thing. It's awkward because they're moulded in but not marked.

I didn't like Majesty, either. It felt like a slap in the face, actually, that a pony who was culturally important in UK pony lore was only released in very limited amounts in the US, where most UK collectors would not be able to get her (without extreme effort and financial layout).

I do get that BF is a US company and that the US market has to take priority, but Majesty's 'iconic' status in the US was a lot less than Fizzy, Wind Whistler, etc...whilst in the UK she was the backbone of most stories and concepts for years (pretty sure she also ran the pony club.)

Fpr me not releasing a normal version of her in some capacity that everyone could obtain was the one misstep BF have made in their releases so far.

Though I admit, I'd have been more annoyed if they had released a regular Majesty only through that method.

Yeah, HQG1C did the rainbow pony (in two diff. poses). Their ver definitely fills the void for me, but I wouldn't say no to Basic Fun releasing her too

I don't like eyeless ponies, either. It just looks so weird and wrong, especially when the eyes ARE moulded on. I've never understood that trend :/

Wallpaper Majesty doesn't bug me, she would if she was a regular Majesty though - I think the regular versions should be widely available/not convention exclusives. I hope they do make a regular Majesty sometime.

I agree, a TAF set of 4-6 ponies would have been amazing.  Even a re-release since many of them are harder to find.  make them glittery and people would have emptied the shelves - a sparkly Yum Yum with PINK hair?  OH YEAH

Majesty was such a weird choice as a standalone... even her name implies that she might come with, IDK, a castle playset... LOL 

I will accept that Stranger Things UpsideDown Applejack made sense as a "nostalgia-tinted" remix.

I would 100% be behind a TAF set (actual TAFs, I mean, not remake of other ponies as TAFs.) I might even deal with 'Sugarberry' on the box if it meant being able to add a pristine crispy Strawberry Fair to my small army

The Twilight and Applejack plush are on US Amazon for preorder.  I didn't see Medley yet. It looks like Basic Fun reversed Twilight's mane from the prototype to make it white with a pink streak instead of pink with a white streak.

I'm getting mixed up with the Celestials - help me out please - which ones have variants? I know Nova has white vs pink stripes but what are the others? Has anyone made a comparison guide or whatever? I checked MLW but they don't seem to have articles for the Celestials at all
