Spotify vs Apple Music?

Hi,

I've been thinking about signing up for Spotify but I'm also considering Apple Music.  I'd like opinions on both services. It seems like there's a lot more songs on Spotify vs Apple Music at a glance.

I've tried Pandora in the past but wasn't happy with.  Also, I'd like to stick to a free service for now as budget is already tight.

Personally i'd go with Spotify it does seem to have way more songs then apple music does

Definitely Spotify. It's much easier to set up your playlists and search for stuff.

Do you both have the free version of Spotify?  I know it has ads on the free version like Pandora does.

I used an adblocker on the Spotify site for a second or so, I didn't get any ads.

The ads are played like radio commercials after every 4 or 5 songs. Honestly, I'm not bothered by it. You can only skip forward a certain number of times too, but I rarely do that so it doesn't really affect me.

I've used the free version for probably 2 years? I have premium now free for 6 months through a Walmart+ promotion. It's nice not having the commercials but they aren't a big deal.

I signed up for Spotify today.   I've already found a bunch of songs on there I want to listen to.

I use Spotify. Apple Music never favored me. I also use SoundCloud for offline listening on road trips.
