Re-glittered

I'm contemplating whether or not I should get my Starshine re-glittered. I'm leaning towards no.. but..hmm.!

It's always the mind playing between "hardcore original owner - don't touch 'em!" and "must fix all the ponies."

 

I figure that since I'm the original owner, anything like this just makes them more "mine."   

Oh, hehehe, I meant original owner as in 'hardcore original' - doesn't want to alter ponies and keep them as original as possible. But, yeah, that is a good way of looking at it too!

Ah.  Now I see what you meant.    I can understand that.  There is a part of me, though, that gets sad if something isn't quite right, especially if it can be remedied.  Since parts of my Ponies' symbols were pretty much obliterated, I'm happy that I was able to renew them. 

Your girls look beautiful! X3 I'm jelly that you have Sunlight.

She is one of the more common ponies...but she is harder to find with perfect glitter

Here is my Moondancer.  I actually started working on her at the same time as I did the others, but I ended up wanting to do some touch-up work and didn't get her finished for awhile.

they came out lovely! I have a baby glory from childhood that i've thought about reglittering....i'm a bit nervous about messing it up. but maybe I'll reconsider, after seeing how nicely yours turned out

Not that I'm aware of. I just think she's the prettiest of the original Rainbow Earths.

These glitters look so lovely! It gives me hope for many of mine which have symbols that have all but disappeared. I must hunt for some glitters now to fix them and give them new life!

They all look so much prettier with their new glitter symbols. I have been thinking about doing this to some of mine, as I've been working on fixing some ponies up with paint touch ups and re-hairing any missing plugs, so I feel really inspired to re-glitter some of mine.

Beautiful work!! Can I ask what size glitter you used? Is it microfine, or something smaller?
