Is Canada -really- confirmed for no TRU exclusives this fall?

When the 'Favourites' set was announced with Night Mare Moon, I nearly had a heart attack I was so excited! I yammered about it for weeks. However, someone posted on a local Brony FB group that Canada is being passed-over on the Favourites set and the talking white Celestia. The "What's New" sticky still says "TBC" on both, so I've held out hope- then I ran into a couple today at a store whose daughter is quite the pony fan, and the father said we won't be getting talking white Celestia or the Favourites collection as well. I haven't read about this anywhere else, can someone else confirm this for me from a reliable source? If it's really true, it's kind of a shame that the country of origin for this show is being shafted on the best-of-the-best merch goodies so far. I really hope we get them ;__; if not, I might have to ask an American Arena member to lend me a hoof ... Thanks for reading, ponyfolk!

I haven't heard anything particularly about these sets, but it wouldn't be the first time Canada missed some TRU exclusives.  With the G3s we got the Birthstone set, but not the Birthflower set, for example.  There were a few others we missed out on too, I believe.

I agree with Elfpony. Yes, we got Birthflower ponies and even G3 Tea Leaf, but who knows. :\

Does anyone know if France or Latin America will be getting them?
(I'm assuming they would be missing out too, since our packaging has both French and Spanish translations...)

Awww, well hopefully some people from the states can resell for you guys in Canada! I have a friend in Canada that wants to help me get the Sweet Slumbers set.

The last I heard for "certain" was white Celestia and the Favourites set looked to be US exclusive items...this was from staff at the 2012 Toy Fair [however you do have to take this sometimes with a little pinch of salt as often things will change depending on contracts, retailers, etc]. I have left it at "to be confirmed" on the Coming Soon thread as apparently TRU Europe are "unaware" of the products - not that they were not going to stock them - just that it hadnt yet been offered to them as stock. So I dont want to rush to assume its never going to happen but currently I am on the side of thinking it unlikely they ll be released outside the US.

It's possible. Looking at the boxes, it seems there's no French on them, and often Canadian products have both English and French.

I hope they change their minds though.

Its a shame they dont consider bringing in the international released products as they are multi language so they can get a Euro wide release - that way if HB Canada dont want to commission dual language packs they have their bases covered.
