I just got Bon Bon (Sweetie Drops) and Spitfire from Amazon as we don't have a TRU within 6-8 hours... Spitfire doesn't seem too bad but Bon Bon's neck is not sealed at all!  It looks like her head will fall off lol.

There have been no Funkos in my Hot Topic for a while now I asked someone who worked there and she didn't even know what I was talking about

Yup same here Shenanigans, I haven't seen them in any Hot Topic for months, they never restocked the Octavia or DJ wave it seems, which is so silly missing out on TONS of sales, since many don't use online shopping so yea... in my Hot Topic they have completely removed the MLP section, and only have a few things scattered around the store.

I would imagine they'll eventually get through all the mane 6 with these vinyls, right? Who else do we speculate is being produced?

Applejack, Big Mac, and Rarity are confirmed. Luna and Celestia will be coming eventually as well, Discord has been in the talks as a possibility. Many fan favs are the ones to speculate such as Braeburn, Soarin, Berry Punch, Carrot Top, and more. Cadence and Shining Armor have a good chance too at some point.

I would love to see a proper Chrysalis and Changeling from funko since hasbro completely fails at creating them.

I think with the market these items are targeted at, the vast majority of people are going to be online and more than happy to purchase this way. We are talking about a collectible aimed at a fandom which spawned due to the internet alone. It really does not surprise me that they would move sales online only [or majority for them].

You also have to consider why they have done it:
1) Its not unusual for stores to launch something retailer wide and in stores in order to get a foot hold and generate interest and then retreat to online only - this often happens with products which are stocked on pre order
2) If a retailer is selling 90% of a product online and 10% in store or any percentage which makes it less expensive and more profitable to stock only on line, then thats what they are going to so. Again I think the Arena shows a perfect example of that. Out of 100 people on here who are going to buy these figures, how many are actually waiting for them to show up in stores and how many are instead ordering on line [and ordering in larger numbers in an attempt to get those chase figures]?
3) I also see a lot of people who order multiples and then return those they dont want to stores. If that happens a lot, retailers dont like it and it creates stock issues. So perhaps less items on shelves means they can direct those who wish to return them to return online only.

Its annoying yes, but unfortunately I think the whole thing is something fans have created rather than Hot Topic's fault.

I tend not to buy online because of factory flaws / errors. I like to inspect my toys before buying.

i know alot of adult fans don't like them, but they're the reason i watch the show. I'd like to see a sunset shimmer and a flash sentry.
