Well I guess the seller with the rehaired Argie Butterscotch had such a good go with selling that one
they have put this pony up for auction on ebay again.
They were made aware that the pony did not have an original head

should this seller be reported in the bad trader thread? i mean if she is aware of the flaw why doesnt she write it into the description?

Arrgh! I've been following the Argie Butterscotch discussion in the other thread. It looks like the seller is not even willing to consider the possibility that these ponies are not legit.

Perhaps she honestly believes them to be authentic. Perhaps she's consciously scamming. Either way, imo the community should be warned.

If you notice she specifically Points out that she has been involved with Ponies for 11 years.  "She was Made in Macau (ingraved underneath one foot).  This is the only Lemon Drop from Macau that I have ever seen in the last 11 years I have been with the My Little Ponies."  This would make a person feel secure in the knowledge that she would know what she is talking about.  But as seen in the Argie butterscotch thread and by the comment made to Roogna, owing a pony makes it right to sell as legit.

If she originally bought the ponies in the firm faith that they are legit, it may be hard for her to admit that they're not, but this is not quite the way a professional seller should behave. At any rate, you're right - it's VERY misleading for the buyer and puts me off.

this makes me sad and cross for collectors, especially since she has not researched the ponies that she sells.

Well, I've been looking for just such a frankenpony.  I messaged the seller asking if she had a Macau body and Italian head.

Unfortunately, the seller also has good feedback on ebay, so anyone who collects but isn't that active here or in other pony communities is probably going to take them at their word. I'd love to see the inside of the rehaired Butterscotch's head though!

She says that she got Snuzz with several other Macau ponies, her head comes off, she has no Italians to compare her too.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Not a very good excuse for someone who has sold Italian Ponies before and also has internet access to Id sites. 
She's been with ponies for 11 years, her words...not very knowledgeable.

Sorry to hijack this thread but is my Jenny okay? I bought her from the same seller and now I'm a bit paranoid.
I wasn't too worried at first because I've bought so many ponies from this seller with absolutely no problems. But it doesn't sound as if Macau and Italian ponies are her speciality....

That would irritate me soooooooo much! I hate false advertising on ebay. I'm what I'd call helpful to sellers I look at ebay so often that usually if i see something named wrong or not named I message the seller to let them know the actual name. This I do because some ponies sell better if they have their actual name on it. I've seen Nice n Spicy named as Boysenberry Pie and many others misnamed.

Misbodied is entirely a different thing and to refuse to accept that it's wrong is rididculous, if the pony came with several other Macaus then she would be able to see from her other macaus that the head wasn't right. She just doesn't want to know quite sad that some poor collector will buy that pony not realizing its mixed up.

Wouldn't someone with 11 years pony experience know what they're seeing with their own eyes was not right? Out for a quick buck me thinks.

I've had ponies half my life but have only got back into them in the last two yearsand only discovered Nirvanas last year but even i know that's not a Macau head pffft!
