New friend!

Tinytaur! <3

Fairyland's event is really tempting, but I really want to broaden the types of dolls that I have, most of my dolls are FL.  I may just end up ordering some tan hands.  I have my eye on that adorable deer by Nympheas, it would look so adorable with my Yul >.<

And I've decided that I love SD sized dolls.  I was worried they'd be too big, but I adore my twins.  Chloe still needs a faceup (I ran out of MSC, so I'm waiting on more atm) but I did get a faceup on Celine:

Image is a bit dim but it's been really gloomy here so I can never get enough light T_T.  The wig is a my lame attempt at a temporary fur wig, it's too big and poorly sewn XD  But I didn't like seeing her bald.

Giving this a bump, they're both still for sale, make me an offer.  I really need to get them moving.  They'll come with what's in their respective pics, plus some barbie clothing, which includes a few dresses, a jacket, and some other loose pieces like shirts, pants, etc.

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: free listings on Ebay - more questions
« on: November 24, 2014, 03:35:49 AM »
Well I don't mind losing 30 cents or approx. $1 to fees; that's fair enough.  But I know in some situations sellers lose 20 - 25 % of the sale price to fees between Ebay and Paypal, and that's what I'm trying to avoid.  I just don't really understand how this works.  The items I want to sell next are worth $50+ each, so I really don't want to lose 25% of those sales to fees.

You'll pay those final value fees regardless.  I believe it comes out to like 12 or 13% of the sale (including shipping) for non top rated sellers.  What the 'free listing' is referring to is the initial fee to list the item, and it's only for auction listings (with or without BIN added on.)  Ebay charges 2 separate fees, one to list the item initially, and one once the items sells, which is the final value fee.  The free listing offering is for that initial listing fee (usually for me it's like .30) and each time the item is relisted, it counts in that free 50 quantity (since it's listing it again.)  You'll pay that 12% final value fee on all sales, including ones listed for free.

One thing I wanna add too, is that if you ever get one of those promotional emails that advertizes free BIN listings, make sure you read the fine print, ebay has removed the toys & hobbies category from most of those promotions.  A few recently have included it, but only up to 10 day BINs.

When you list, check the fees for the listing on the second page, if it qualifies, it should say 0.00, but also list your total due for the next invoice, which will include any final value fees charged on listings for the month.

Added photos ^^  There's a few details I've noticed during the photos so I've added those to the descriptions.  Click on the photos and they'll go to more of them.

I've moved on to BJDs and they no longer get any attention, so I'm looking to rehome them.  I don't yet have pics but I'll be taking them tonight, and I'll add them.

Youtsuzu

She will come with her complete fullset outfit, her wig has been removed and replaced with another, but her original is still in the condition it was when I bought her.  Unfortunately she has snapped a wrist (as in, the wrist part on the forearm), which I've read is extremely common with the body she came on, so she'll need a replacement.  After taking photos, I've found that she has a crack in her other wrist too, and a piece near the hinged chipped off.  I wouldn't be surprised if some of this damage happened the first time they dressed her, her hands are insanely hard to get into her outfit >.<  Because of this I'll be discounting her by a bit.  Other than swapping her wig, I've made no changes to her.  I will also include a few sets of clothing for her (mainly barbie clothing) and a pair of liv shoes, which are a bit big, but will fit ok if she's wearing socks.  I also noticed she has a small bit of melt at the back side of the neck hole in her head.  It's formed into a sort of lip around the top of the neck, but it's seriously not noticeable unless you know it's there.  The bun hairpiece (the red pillow thingy with the hair wrapped around it) has some hairs broken, it looks like it was bound so tight that the pressure has caused them to slowly break.  Trimming the broken ones would probably clean it up nicely.

$50 + shipping for her.  If you'd like her maroon wig, I'll include it for an extra $10.  It's a dollzone maroon 8-9 wig.  She'll come in her original box, and any paperwork I still have for her.  If I can find her stand, I'll include it.

Romantic Alice (blue version)

She comes with an obitsu body.  The body has a tiny, faint red dot on the neck, I tried to get it in a pic, but it's not really visible.  Her wig has been removed to change the body, but is still attached to her head at the very top.  I also trimmed it by about 2-3 inches, because the ends were horrible, frizzy, and dry.  No other changes were made.  Like Youtsuzu, I'll include some barbie clothing with her, and if I can find another pair of liv shoes, I'll include them, but no guarantees.  After these 2 girls move on, I won't have anyone that can wear that size, so I'll be splitting it among the 2 of them.

$70 + shipping for Alice.  She'll come in her original box, but I don't have any other paperwork or accessories/parts/clothing from her full set (I got her in a split)

I'm open to offers, I really just need to get them moving.  Please message me any questions.  I will ship internationally if it's desired, but keep in mind that due to their size, they will cost a considerable amount to ship overseas.

I got a notice for a box yesterday, and my mailman wrote 'ponies' as the sender (lol), so I'm pretty sure it's my custom, as I'm not waiting on any others XD  I won't be able to get it til monday, for some reason the post office here sends any packages I get back to the central po rather than the local one, which is less than a mile from my work, but too far from home.

Well...that's disheartening o.o I didn't realize luts had this problem with their tan dolls...I'm going to need to keep an eye on my yul's neck then, just in case <.<

Looks like their mysql server's down.  Generally when that happens they just need to restart it.  I wonder if they know it's down...I looked for a possible way to contact them but couldn't find anything other than an untouched, years old facebook page.

That sux :( I hope you can get it sorted out.

We haven't had nearly as much trouble with UPS as Fedex, but I'm betting it's about the same process.  Take lots of pics of the damage, and harass them, seems to be the best way to get somewhere with them >.<  The box clearly says FRAGILE on it too, and it's squished, so you should have some luck.  As far as I know, they offer insurance on all packages (you have to declare the value when you ship with them, if you don't, it defaults to $100.)

We've had Fedex ship back stuff to us that they admitted they damaged, and they still refused to refund us...wut?  AND they charged us to return the package to us!  They got some angry phone calls after that lol.

I'm jealous too, Zenna lol.  He's adorable <3

I've made my second payment on my FF&D layaway, only 10 months left to go XD  I'm hoping to get it paid off earlier than one year, but right now I'm focusing more on my DDE/FL order since that'll be due earlier.  That part kinda bums me out though, cuz while I'm REALLY looking forward to my F60s, I think I'm most looking forward to Ayaliz.  That is actually surprising to me, given that I almost DROOLED over the teaser pic Luts released for the winged centaurs.  Ayaliz is just so cute though...

I had some unclaimed property due to me from the state of CA, and it's on its way, so that'll most likely go towards making a significant dent in the amount I owe for my F60 twins.  DDE told me I can always pay parts ahead of time, so I plan on doing that so I don't go spend that money on something else rofl.

Honestly I deal with a lot of this already.  Yeah they're forcing sellers to pay return shipping, but you're already basically expected to, or you get negative feedback.  We deal with this constantly at work (I manage 2 ebay stores.)  Ebay just hasn't enforced it until now.  Imo, if the item really is defective, the seller should be paying it anyways.  That doesn't count the liars, scammers, and idiots, though we get a decent amount of those too, unfortunately.  Keep in mind that it's on defective/not as described only, they won't force you to pay return shipping for other returns.  Yeah scammers may get around that, but they already do, so it's not going to change much.

I don't like the refund without returns, but that seems like it's only if you refuse to accept the defective item back or offer a refund.  If you tell them to send it back, they'll need to in order to get a refund.  I'm guessing it's if they open a case and escalate because you won't take the defective/not as described item back or give them the refund.

These don't bug me nearly as much as their new defect system ('hey let's implement this system but only half of it so sellers are screwed til the rest is released!') and the fact that they removed the toys category from their free BIN promotions...

Thank you! <3

She's honestly difficult to take pics of, her resin color is just so awesome in person, but either my camera has a hard time handling the contrast between the dark upper and white lower body, or it's all user error :P

After posting these I realized there's a spot on my camera's lens, it's really visible in the second pic XD

I'm debating over redoing her faceup, it'll look exactly the same, but I'll be replacing the light eyelashes with brown ones, and using white acrylics for her markings rather than a pencil.  Just need to get a new super tiny brush first...

I've kinda banned myself from DDE for a while lol... too much drooling and not enough money, and that'll just make it worse XD

I've been more preoccupied finding eyes for my incoming feeples, I'm really digging some Makos for them atm.

I also got some pics of my Yul:
