Hi everyone! I haven't been here in a long while so I hope I'm doing this right. I need a price check on my G4 collection all in MiB. Much is appreciated! (A pricei check of this as a lot is greatly appreciated too!!) Yes I am trying to sell these but only as a lot. I've felt this way too with MH. No new characters that have caught my eye, no new stuff appearing. The past three months I've gone on a Hiatus and been gone from here for a long while just to see what it'd be like if I went cold turkey. Haven't felt any sign withdrawal or anything. I still enjoy them and wouldn't mind continuing them, but not as actively as I used to be. >,<;
TL;DR Me, mildly being a drama queen.
Spoiler I also felt like getting out of it a little after the MHArena opened up, (No offence to the awesome MLPArena staff that worked so hard to open it up and are doing a great job maintaining it!) I've just felt somewhat out of place/unwelcomed there. I came to the conclusion that I enjoyed collecting MH because (along with collecting the dolls themselves and enjoying them) I enjoyed being part of a community with others who collected what I collected, but feeling out of place, now it's like being on the playground and seeing a group of kids having fun together, then asking to play and either being ignored or getting that awkward "...Sure..." silent moment or something. Iono, maybe it's just my little "ego" of being a part of something is just being hurt and I'm just not aware of/accepting it yet.
If you've completely lost interest, or think you've lost interest, you can try what I did and went cold turkey, not pay attention to your collection for a few months and see if you feel the same now as you would then about keeping them, selling them, or passing them onto someone else.
If it makes you feel any better, Luvly, I've noticed your disappearance and missed you  You always made me laugh:) A few of my favorite people never truly made the switch, and that makes me sad (you are one of them!) so you are NOT alone. Also, I have a bit of hard time over there too, but it's mostly because it's such a BIG open space, and I have a hard time keeping up with everything  I'm sure if you came back, you'd realize people miss you more than you think!
It seems alot of people are looking to "get out" or downsize. I, myself, have been getting bad vibes from my collection. I've got "it all," so it's an embarrassing amount of dolls. It's getting to be too much, and I haven't been able to bond with the newer dolls because as soon as I get one, I need to find the next one and the next one.
Aww thanks I really appreciate that. Glad I'm not the only one that has that feeling. I might try to slowly come back into MH if some of the new characters caught my attention, but so far they're not as different, "unique" or detailed as I'd expect them to be, now they're kinda starting to feel a bit "generic" now in a way. I'm still willing to go for each "Signature" release of new ghouls, but when they're starting to look almost plain, or similar to the other dolls, kinda hard to want to keep up. if that makes any sense.

As it turns out, it was the wrong yahoo account...whoops. It was supposed to be @ymail instead of @yahoo itself...>,>; So it's still active. there's still hope! Can't wait to see what the new babies look like after being gone for so long.

Being gone for too long again and I decided to stop in. >,<; Apparently my Flickr/Yahoo has been deactivated because I was gone for 3 months even though they say I'd have to log in at least once every 12 months to keep it open, so now my account may be gone so I might have to make a new account/find somewhere else ot post and coming up with a new name after having this one for more than 10 years, isn't going to be easy. >,<; Wth yahoo... /endrant
While cleaning my room and moving stuff around, I decided to take a peek at my Liv dolls in their container and I've missed them so much I felt like taking some pictures of them. Sadly, some things were removed/thrown out during the last time I was moving stuff around cleaning. >,<; So I'm gonna need to make a new light box and bed...and table...etc for them.

Eee wow I missed out on a lot. >,<; Great pictures BB and grats on finding School's Out Sophie, she was one of the ones I was looking for when I first started off with Livs Grats on getting more of those little babies Taxel!  You've got yourself a whole little baby army growing. Sorry for the two that didn't make it.  OMG That green wig looks so perfect!!! I remember I wanted one, but from what I researched (or tried searching with little to no resources on the internet. =_=;) If there was a green wig, and the only closest one was the brown and green one that came with Original Katie. lol for a moment I thought we'd finally be able to see one of your photos of your girls but it was picklepuds instead. His Liv photos are so awesome compared to his MH ones. Too bad he doesn't post any more of them or partake in this thread. I really Like that blue dress that his Sophie has on, it'd be perfect for Capri. I'm not too sure if these wigs are dyeable RJ, I'd be too scared to dye and possibly ruin one especially after the line has died out. >,<; From what I remember, there's that wig that Taxle posted, as well as an orange neonish kinda wig that came with the Target Liv Brites Alexis.

When we were kids, our parents were unable to afford toys for me and my sisters, we pretty much lived most of our childhood with little to no toys at all, so the idea of having a collection back then would've been one big  from them. These ones really are tempting to collect... One of each character who comes with the outfit they wear on the show and pray that they don't bring in a whole bunch of other new characters!! Best solution ever!

If they release Skipper, Stacey and Chelsea, I'm so on it!! I remember when I first started watching these, a sudden urge to collect Barbie releases that came close to looking like the ones from LITD came over me, luckily I held back until now. And I never collected barbies either!

I'm watching them now. I wonder if they'll outdate the old same simplistic "proportionate" looking head molds and give them newer "bigger" fuller head molds that give them a cartoonyer look. It looks like they're doing that so far with these new barbie dolls. Not to mention them doing that already with MH and soon to be EAH, maybe Mattel is "revamping" the way they do dolls now. Then again, too early to jump to conclusions, but never too early to hypothesize.
