I have a new question....

If my partner just happened not to be a US member.... Would they like anything American in their swap box? I am heading to New York in a few weeks time (yay!) so maybe I could grab some things. Ponies, sweeties, souvenirs, random stuff you can't get in other countries?

Oooooh NY - have a fab time mercy - I havent been to NY for about 4 or 5 years - mind you I may be banned from my fav hotel after I stalked the doorman for 4 days - he was adorable and called Pedro and wore a uniform...*sigh*....I kept having to pop in and out or needing a can so that I could just see him...obsessive maybe a little

I'm an American in Scotland, so yeah... if I happened to be your partner, I'd be all over that! I think I have some American goodies listed in my questionnaire on page 30. Only other thing I can think of is coconut. Love the Baker's Angel brand. So thick and moist, not like the desiccated stuff over here that makes you cough.

Oh, prince... not a huge fan of rubs, but if it's not major and especially if it's on the non-display side, I'm cool with it.

Aha... Hathorcat, that's so funny! If I notice any doormen who look like they've had some psychological issues then I'll know why!

I just figured out my theme! Well, it is not a theme of the ponies, but the wrapping is going to have a theme! YAY!

Also, dear partner, I almost bought you something a bit odd. Should I get it for you? Will you be upset by something eye-catchingly odd? It doesn't go with the theme or your wish list at all.

I'm so worried my partner is going to have this experience:

Opens first item: "Cool yay!"
Opens second: "Also cool"
Opens third: "pony!"
Opens fourth: "um, what? eek! So odd."
Opens fifth: "pony!"
Opens sixth: "pretty!"
Opens eighth: "ack! Why did you think I would like this!"

The sum of everything should be ponies and things I know my partner likes. Two things are out of nowhere items that I just found and personally love.

Items from the US?
I die for Junior Mints or Cadburry Crispy Crunch - so that is what I name first when someone ask what I like most from the US.
