Trader & Shipping Support / Ack! What do I do?« on: March 08, 2020, 08:08:13 AM »
I had a set of Bittie Baby clothes up for auction that ended with no bids. I had someone message me afterwards asking if I would take $12 ( I had it up for $15). I thought this was fine and set up a BIN for $15 with a make an offer option and set it to accept $12. I did this as there had been a couple people watching the auction and wanted to make sure this person got it. Well, in the 2 frickin minutes it took me to message tge person someone ELSE made an offer of $12 and got it! What do I do? I told the first person she could have it but technically the second person won it fairly. Oh why did i choose the automatic accept....

Off Topic / Re: Anybody else get frustrated with shopping?« on: February 24, 2020, 02:20:36 PM »Yes. Nobody has any clue how to make clothes and shoes for women.Pockets though. I always through it was funny growing up, until I actually experienced it. Either objects need to be smaller, including women’s hands, or pockets need to be bigger. This bugs my mom SO MUCH, lol. Most of her jeans have decent pockets but her dressy pants/slacks have the teeny or non existent pockets and when she goes to put something in the latter she'll pause and then go "I forgot, I'm wearing my girl pants." I'm 5' and am in the 26/28 range. Tops are either super long (don't mind the torso being so but having to fold up your sleeves 5 inches is a pain) or even if they fit around I can't raise my arms even a little or everyone's seeing my pasty white gut. And necklines! Even small v necks or slightly wide collar can reveal a bit much if I lean forward/bend over And pants! 99% of the time I have to hem them IF I can find any that fit right, blah. I'm so glad stretch denim is a thing otherwise I'd have to spend $$$ at Lane Bryant (I do get my dressy items there but so pricey...) 20

Thanks everyone! For some reason i was thinking insurance was included if you did registered mail so thats good to know that its not. The site didn't mention being able to add insurance to first class so also good to know.
Thanks again for all the help, I really appreciate it!! 23
Trader & Shipping Support / Shipping question« on: January 28, 2020, 04:45:19 AM »
I'm in the US and someone in Australia wants to buy some dolls from me. I want to include some kind of tracking; registered first class mail is $44 and Priority is $54. I noticed that with click n ship if I go first class that there is Electronic USPS Delivery Confirmation International at no extra charge. Would that protect me and the seller if the package goes missing? What exactly does it do? I'm working on 4 hours sleep so my brain is not making sense of it, lol. I want to be covered if something happens and still be a reasonable price for the buyer.
Thank you! 24

Pony Corral / Re: Newspaper stains tips?« on: April 10, 2019, 07:05:17 AM »
I second the dish soap. I was able to remove newspaper ink on a monster high doll with rubbing alcohol; I dampened a cotton ball with it and rubbed the spot until it was gone, the washed the area with soap and water. Not sure how it would work on painted areas and it doesn't always work but worth a try:)
