Sadly I did not find that weird styling head, but I found a g1 mug at Marshalls and picked up another Sparkle Girlz pony. My 5 Below has been disappointing me!

Thank you for the advice everyone, I did two full coats of the varnish on my pony and it solved my problem! It was a little tricky working around the mane plugs but I got it down! She looks brand new again apart from some dust I couldn't get off. If it really bothers me, I can sand and paint over. I'm just happy that she won't stick to my shelf now! DuraClear really was a life saver. I'll be using that for all my customs now!

Today's complaint is that my soda exploded & I was really looking forward to drinking it. Taffeta, Oh no! Mold is so gross, I'm glad its not too bad!

Poor thing, I'm sure they had a good life. I'm sorry for your loss, Ponyfan.

I come bearing bad news... It's finished but, I think I ruined it. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI tried to define the eyelids and tearducts but I didn't think it fit in, so my friend suggested I outline everything else and... Well... I don't like it... I tried to honor my cat as much as I could but now it doesn't look like her, and I don't know what to do.

Me too! I got the white one as well. I love those shirts, very comfortable! I haven't found the styling head yet, but why does it look so... Odd?

Oh wow she is gorgeous!!! I love her so much!!! Yep there's a good few patterns for G4 Ponies, & PKW has one for Takaras, but I never found any for G1s, hence making my own. Mine took a week of painstaking trial, error, frogging & redoing, measuring, & other bits to get done, & the second one took the same time, but only because 1/ she needed wings which I had to add, & 2/ her hair was tinsel yarn, very sparkly but working with it was a pain. But I'm happy with the results. And as a fellow crocheter, I congratulate you on your hard work, which is what making this looks like it was, even with the pattern to guide you!!! One other thing: your eyes look amazing!!! Did you embroider them??? They look embroidered, & that in itself is a time-consuming process. I'm not a safety eye fan, but boy does the embroidery take time to do!!! It does result in a safer, more secure eye though. Same with symbols where needed.
I did embroider the eyes! I layered the different color blocks for the whites and pupils, then I went around to make the iris with blue. After I finished both of those I used more embroidery thread to create the eyelash shapes. It was very time consuming, but I think it looks great! It did take a lot of work and recounting stitches... I want to try to make my own patterns soon, but I'm not as confident in that.

Moved this to Arts & Crafts for you
She is adorable! I love her eyes and her hair is perfect. Did you make the pattern too?
Apologies. Thank you! For the eyes, I sketched Rainbow Dash's eye shape and made different sizes to see which one I liked. I did not make the pattern, I got it from here.

Here I am!! If you have kept up to date in the "What are you working on?" thread you'd have seen my updates on her. And she is finally done! This project has been very long and tedious, but I am so happy with how she turned out! I can't wait to show everyone! I hope you like her as much as I! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMore images under the spoiler!

Had to order it on Amazon since Walmart didn't have any. I checked and it said they had it online!!! Now I will have to wait until Wednesday. I have taped up her hair though, so she just has to wait.

Okay! There's DuraClear Matte Varnish at my Walmart, do you think that brand works? It says polyurethane.

I see! People have been getting mixed results from Mod Podge, so I was hesitant. I think the air I sprayed the sealant in is too humid, but I can't really control that. Thank you!
