I love this set. So annoyed it didn't come to the UK!

I used to not be a seapony fan too, but my kid changed that with me now I like them in their own way. I do not have this girl shes on my want list of somedays.

Also not a huge seapony fan. I have a handful of them from childhood, plus there is one specific one I want if she comes up at the right price, but that is enough for me. She's cute, though, and I like the shell necklace-looking design on her; I don't think I've seen that before

She's one of my favorite Seaponies! Unfortunately, I don't have a single G1 Seapony. They tend to be pricey, icky, or both, but I would love to have at least one; I like the concept, silly as it is!

she's pretty cute! not really huge on sea ponies though; i like them in theory but i've heard they get pretty, uh. gross.

Sea Shimmer. Just for a dumb, sentimental reason: my sisters and I had an MLP sleeping bag when we were growing up, and it featured her on it. We didn't know her name, but my sister named her 'Joey' for some reason. She was only like 3 at the time, but the name stuck, and we all wanted to get a Joey so we could act out the scene on the sleeping bag. I imagine she's probably one of the more sought-after ones, since she's green...people seem to like green ponies (I do too!).

I'm pretty sure I have a complete family of sea ponies, plus some doubles (I like them <3) and none of them are gross. Although that said, White Cap and Sea Mist have gone beyond logic into the beige brown discolouration world. So they are maybe a bit gross if you want to put it that way. They're really not white any more, but no worse than Gingerbread or Quackers or Starshine, so it's not a Sea Pony problem. It's the white plastic.
One of my 2 childhood ones had internal mould when I was a kid. She got cleaned up. She's fine. Her ear has a faint shadow still but she's not gross or mouldy in any way and hasn't deteriorated since about 1990 xD.
None of my others has any problem. So yeah, it's really not hard to get Sea Ponies without grossness.
You might get colour change babies that are stuck between shades.
But this set - with the necklaces - are really pretty. Unfortunately, also a bit pricey now :) I have one of them MOC - Seaspray I think - and some cards loose with ponies but I would love to have more of them MOC. Probably a pipe dream now...

I love her. I only had Baby Surfy from this set but she got moldy inside and was thrown away. I still have Surfy's float though.

I do see her pop up quite often...I was planning on bidding on a really inexpensive lot with her in it a while back, but I forgot to watch the end of the auction and someone else got it for super cheap. :huh: Oh well...I'll find her for the right price someday hopefully. :satisfied:

I'll try looking for her there, thanks! Do you have to have an Instagram account to buy stuff on it? I made an account a couple of years ago, but never did anything with it and I'm not sure I can still get into it.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the two baby seaponies I had as a little girl. It would be fun to have her again.

Lots of sentimental value for this sea pony. I got her when I was a kid :heart: She was secondhand, like most of my ponies in the early 90s, but somehow I still got her (and her friend, watercolor Baby Foamy) with their floats.

you do need an account, one is easily made. 999ponies is located in the us as well.
