Title: Are all Italians squishy?
Post by: BlackCurtains on July 22, 2020, 04:58:23 PM
I've packed up my ponies for my move and as I was handling them, I noticed how soft and squishy my Italian Applejack was compared to the other ponies. She's my only Italian and I don't remember if she was always like this.

Hmm, I grew up with Italians and I still have quite a few, but I've never noticed them being squishier than HK/China ponies. I've just done a "squish test" on a few of my Italy ponies, I honestly can't feel a difference.  :)

I did a squish test with my Italy and HK Applejack and HK turned out maybe a bit squishier than Italy. ^^
Overall, I don't think there is a notable difference is vinyl softness.

It depends, some Italy ponies I have had through my hands have been rock hard, others have been normal and some soft.

It could be age, it could be down to her batch or the factory she was made in. We know that Italy ponies were made in several factories, which accounts for many of the variations we know about :)

Interesting! She's also shiny. She isn't sticky at all. Just squishy and shiny
