Next wave of brushables leaked

It makes sense. As little as we like it, this app thingy is Hasbro's new thing so of course the first releases will be the mane six. Which characters are the kids most familiar with and will want more in their game? The mane six.

Alas this...sad but so so true.

Hopefully it does mean that more variety is incoming, though! Because the zapcodes are only good for one character, right? Sooooo~ in order to fill their virtual world, they're going to need lots and lots of characters, especially the recurring ones like the CMC, Zecora, the Cakes, Princesses, villains, etc etc.

Watch them start to put them on the blind bags, then its game over for brushies.

The sad thing is, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they did do this.

I would say don't get your hopes up until we see if they are on blind bags or not, because knowing hasbro they will put them on the blind bag cards and thats how people will get them in the game.. which means the whole lots of new characters in brushie form is out the window.

Alas, who knows what Hasbro is planning aside trying to jump on every bandwagon there is (Equestria Girls~Monster High, blind bags~Moshi Monsters/Lego Minifigures, Zapcodes~Amiibos/Skylanders)

From the amount of stories I've read on here about kids trashing their G1 ribbons out of disinterest, you didn't even need that Remember when the ponies were so beautiful, unique and exciting that they could be appreciated for their own merit without add-ons or gimmicks?

I really despise the idea of them having scan codes on them. AT LEAST put it on a paper inside the box. However, that little shop Rarity comes with is really cool.

I NEEDED the ribbons! I loved the ribbons almost as much as the ponies!

I wonder how these will be packaged? Id hate for people to scan them through the package!!

It seems the wave of brushables after the ones with necklaces and cutie marks around their eye and down their leg has been spotted and it looks like the main 6 again. However they have codes on their legs so I'm assuming they need to release them with the codes once and then they will start with the new characters.

I agree, but perhaps they were worried that if they did that, people would throw away the paper without looking at it? I know LPS used to have a seperate card to scan, but their QR codes (or whatever they're called now) were recently moved to the back of their heads.. if that makes sense.

I just wish the codes were on their hooves or somewhere else easily hidden, if they *have* to be on the ponies themselves.

They need to be high contrast to scan.

I'm in love with Rarity's shop and will be buying that the moment I see it. (She's my second favorite pony, right after Fluttershy.)

On one hand I feel immense sympathy for all of you who have stuck with mlp for months, years or decades. It sucks that you aren't getting new, exciting characters as brushables. On the other hand, I'm 100% new to collecting ponies (joined back in '10 because I love dolls.) and got into mlp via Friendship is Magic. So I do want at least one version of all of the mane six, and will be happy to get a set without any danger of getting gauged by people trying to stock up and re-sell. (I can respect people placing value on older ponies and collecting them as a vintage item, but it's annoying when someone goes to stores, grabs all of something and wants to resell on ebay or amazon market.)

I agree with those saying that Hasbro should have taken a hint from Skylanders or Monster High if they were going to re-release. They should be offering something for their loyal customers to purchase as well. Failing to do this is definitely a blind spot.

LOL i can totally see hasbro putting scannable qr codes onto blindbags... or at least their cards! xD watch them release waves 1, 3, etc alllll over again so we can scan them xD
