Last night somebody picked a fight with me for wearing an MLP shirt!

I was travelling home from work when this random guy decided to pick on me for wearing a shirt with Sweetie Belle on! As a Brony, I show off my merch  a lot, but do you think I should 'go back into the closet'?

If someone is physically threatening you, I'd report him to the police or authorities immediately.

Don't stop wearing MLP stuff because of that guy. I have only seen one guy in my area wearing MLP but I thought it was awesome. I debated going up to him to say something but I am so painfully shy that I didn't.

He's probably jealous that he is too scared/insecure to wear his own MLP/[insert "non-manly" hobby or interest] shirt or merchandise.

But really, you keep on wearing your MLP shirts! If it makes you happy showing off your merchandise, then go for it! Don't let others make you feel bad about something you enjoy.

Just ignore them. I am so happier now in my life and just in general now that I have realized that random people I don't know and will never see again don't matter and can't effect my life

My mom always told me " Some will pick on others to make themselves feel better. " I do believe this to this day still.

If he's the first, and you do this frequently, I'd say no.  But as you probably know, there are places where it's just not a good idea to wear that sort of thing, but I doubt where it happened was one of them.

Sorry to hear about it, though. But it will happen sometimes.  Just remember that most people are too wrapped up in their own business to give a crap.
