I found a G1 pony friend, Kingsley. For only $5. It was in EXCELLENT condition except for some slight symbol rub.

I found around 30 MIB G1 Scrub-a-dub-tub play sets at a warehouse many moons ago. I also remember when I went to a local TRU when G2s were just finishing, and found that they still had a G1 Bed and Crib play set o_O; £10!

Lol 30 of them! I would faint...and as I collect the little ducks then create a little rubber duck army!

Large Symbol Raindrop for less than $8.

MO Pretty Mane Scribbles for a little more than $2.

Mexican Prince Sapphire for less than $1 (including his crown!).

My 3 MIB Watercolor Baby Sea Ponies for less than $30 each.

And they are the ones that came first to mind.

That's insane, some amazing pony luck there!!

my best finds should be Big Brother Lightning for a little less than $2, and Macau Lemon Drop - also for the same price, both are in really nice condition. I love them

Hmm, maybe that time my dad's boss showed up at work with a Lavender Dream Castle and a bunch of ponies for me.  They were his daughter's.  FREE!

My personal best was 2 x ice crystal for 20p each
My mums best piggy snuzzle 50p
My dads best piggy butterscoth 20p
My younger sisters best was thundercloud 50p

We are a family of bargain hunters lol!

Makes me wonder if all the rare ponies are rare because they are just in non-collector hands... and we'll keep finding them second hand.

Tux n' Tails for $1 at a flea market.

SS Angel and a bunch of other G1s for $2 each at a flea market.

MO Mommy Pony for $30 at a flea market. It was from a toy dealer and I thought it was a steal.

Purple Valentine Baby and Flowerbelle in near mint condition at a yard sale for less than $1 at a yard sale.

A bunch of mint Windy/Summer wing ponies and a couple of Dream Beauties from a country fair for under $10. The lot had Cool Breeze!

Fizzy, Brightglow, and TE Bright Eyes from an antique mall about $5 for all. They were in lovely condition too.

That's all I can think of right now. I know there are plenty more I am not remembering right now.

I have had too many to know which,perhaps a craigslist lot of 100 ponies with a mimic in it which also included 2 sleeping bags
or stumbling across a yard sale that had all the popular 80s toys...rainbow brites,shortcakes and ponies
or finding the best flea market that hooks me up by email now that I live states away
couldnt tell you
my best eBay would be buying a lot with sweet scoops and asking about the charm and actually getting the charm after they looked for it
