Thought this was be a fun thread to start. What do you consider to be your best pony find/best bargain ever?

Mine would be finding the first official Baby Takara on honeymoon in Japan for 80p.

I found SS Twilight (amongst others) for a dollar last year, my first pony thrift find ever.

Near Mint Flurry with super pink hair for a dollar too ^_^ That was a few months ago...

Well, it really wasn't mine but my mom found a Cutesaurus in a bag with a couple of other G1, G3, and fakie ponies for like $3 at a thrift store.

My mom actually found her for me, but a MO mommy pony w/ 2 other g1 ponies for $3 at Savers last month. 

Before that, it was Munchy for $2 at the same thrift store.

Hmm I think my best find was at a Value land in the early 2000's.

I found a HUGE stash of my little ponies, someone's collection for sure! I paid around $50 for a TON of ponies and accessories. It was so long ago that I do not remember all of the ponies I found but here is what I remember!

Best pony find = Copper Glow sticking out of a trash can outside. I must have looked pretty suspicious grabbing a pony out of the garbage, but after a good wash she turned out pretty mint

Nothing that beats anything anyone else got, but I got a G1 starflower for a quarter and a twin Sleepyhead for free at a thrifrt store. The lady thought it was so cute how excited I was over her she said just take her home, it's one me ;o;

I dont have any pictures, but i have found a grand total of 2 Baby Ruby's, a Baby Sapphire, and a MB Sunburst all at carboot sales for under £1 each. Ive been pretty lucky actually

A lot of ponies containing very near mint SS Angel, SS Crumpet, SS Taffy, Quarterback with helmet, Trickles, SS Lickety-Split, Skippity Doo with stand, a MLP suitcase-sized tote, about 30 puffy stickers, and Mimic for $45.  My boyfriend's best pony find (for me, of course!) would have to be a lot of 30+ G1 ponies including MB Lightning at a yard sale here in Michigan for $10!

 i found  a  glimmer  wings rairty  at a thirft store for 10 cents.   also  got chuck e cheese pony for free.

ended up getting a whoel bag of ponys  including a so soft  newborn for  2.50.

then i also found a  talking celstia for 1.00 she looked pretty mint.

Yesterday my answer would have been different attempting to remember the ponies I scoured car boots for in the 1990s.

This morning however, I received a parcel from my Dad who lives in France and had been to a car boot near him.

Not overly hopeful, but appreciating his effort, I opened the box and found a bunch of cute fakies and a couple of lovely G2 & G3s, then...

...Dutch Heart pony!  For under a Euro!  And utterly out of the blue!

I'm not too proud to admit it, I squeaked like a kid at Christmas.  I'm still bouncing now after starting to clean her up. She has pink highlighter on her ears and eyebrows and *I don't care* Squee!
