What happens if someone doesn´t pay an ebay item

I ´ve read the ebay policy of not paying and I know what the seller needs to do, but what happens to the buyer? Does he get a negative feedback? Or gets banned? Thank you everyone.

Nope, absolutely nothing happens.  Ebay wants buyers to keep using the site, so there is no punishment for not paying.

I think there may be a Unpaid Item mark/strike that gets put on the buyer's account, if you had put an Unpaid Item Claim on them and they don't pay up in time.
But I don't think the buyer actually gets "punished", such as losing their account and whatnot.

Sellers can't leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers.

yes this is true - they buyer will get unpaid item strikes as long as you open a case and they dont pay up. This will restrict them from buying from some other sellers since you can set up your account so that people with unpaid item strikes in the last two months cannot bid or buy from you   If they continue not paying then they *may* get kicked off, but not for one or two NPB strikes and unfortunately no they cant have any bad feedback left for them which is a shame 
you can block the person from bidding on any of your own items in future
You can add the non paying persons ebay ID to the thread here so that other people can block the person from bidding on their items too
