Is Wind Whistler rare?

So a few weeks ago I was looking for a Wind Whistler on ebay and there was one, very poor condition one. This made me wonder: Is Wind Whistler rare? If so, why is she so rare/hard to find? Or do you have your own opinion on this?

I don't think so. I see her (both the US release and the international release) around fairly often, but not all the time.

Nope, there's several on ebay right now and on the arena sales. When you looked a few weeks ago there must have been just few being listed by name. The trend right now is people buying and selling ponies without even knowing who they are or if its a good price so you can't always look up by name.

No she isn't rare at all. Keep looking in the sales forum on here and of course eBay, you will find her soon enough!

No, I don't think so. She was one of my childhood ponies, but mine is the NSS version.  I have a small army now

As everyone is saying, she's not rare. However, I think that finding one with perfectly pink hair is a little bit harder, judging from how difficult it can be to find other Ponies with still pink hair if it's fading pink.

I don't think she is rare at all I tend to see her all the time.

But you know how it is if you are looking for a pony then they become the rarest on the planet. This week alone I have being trying to find a common pony for a swap I used to see her all of the time on ebay. now can I track her down ......

Have you tried "advertising" you are looking for her in your signature? As everyone else has said she is easy enough to track down and like so many of the so softs from that time common enough, so perhaps people will then come to you if they have her for sale?

I think she is definitely one of the more common ponies as she was a recurring character on the show and was also in the movie.  She is, or at least has been for me, difficult to find in mint condition.  Her hair is fading pink and it is hard to find one with both perfect flocking and perfect hair.  But she crops up in varying condition on eBay a lot.

I only got mine this year, and she's in so/so condition - I always wanted her, so I never found her! Same with Twilight - searched for aaages, but I was determined! She's pretty common, but she's a pretty girl, so usually gets snapped up fast, or so it seems!

Not super rare, just AWESOME. Seriously, I love Wind Whistler. Near when I started I got the UK version, with hair faded to white and a nasty forelock trim. She was my first repinking job so it's not perfect, but I love her.
