Any news regarding McPonies?

Just wondering... has anypony heard whether there'll be McPonies this year, or EG dolls, or something Hasbro-Pony related at the golden arches?

I haven't heard anything so far, and I'm pretty sure if an announcement was made, we'd be one of the first people to know! I do hope they release more McPonies this year, I really like them

I think the only hint we've seen is the logo at the Toy Fair display

The 2012 McPonies came out in March... I wonder if they might come out in Aug. this year to coincide with the EqG dvd release? I've been checking the happy meal website periodically to see what's coming next but no sign yet.

Seems like there was a discussion a few months ago that maybe Burger King would do the ponies, right? But seeing that McD M in the Toy Fair display makes me think it'll be McDonald's

Well there's the Burger King ponies TW, PP and Fs maybe euro only for now. But I've been out of the loop a little while - are they 2012 or 2013?

Honestly, I don't see what they could do to make these McPonies different.  We've had the same stuff every year, and I kind of hope they leave the ponies out of Happy Meals this year.  I'd love it if, instead, they put in some brushable Barbies like they had in the '90s!

Although, I'd be lying if I said I didn't kind of wish they had some brushable Barbie-type Equestria Girls dolls...  I'd go crazy for those.

Honestly, I feel like if we get any sort of MLP Happy Meal toys, it's gonna be EG dolls. Hasbro probably wants to promote them, they're new and hip and McDonald's wants that too, so that might be the way things go this year.

The logo in the presentation could be a reference to past licencees as well.

Hopefully we will know soon if they plan for a 2013 release.
