MLP:FiM Posters - Free with Purchase at Wal-Mart?

I'm in central/southern California. Several hours south of you I'm afraid...but you guys up north usually get stuff way earlier than we do down here, so I'd imagine they'll show up at your WalMarts soon if they aren't there already

Oooo now I'm confused. These are not located in the toy section? Where should we be looking??

I think they WILL be located in the toy section. My WalMart's display wasn't technically "out" yet. From the picture on the first page, it looks like a pretty tall thing...but the one I saw was in two pieces set back to back against each other, like it still needed to be moved to the toy section and stacked back up. There's a "site to store" area in the back of the store, and that's where this was located-- in the doorway to that area.

I found them at my WalMart! My little WalMart that doesn't even sell ponies anymore and told me a few months ago that they had no plans to sell them again.

They had the endcap over by their site-to-store area, not by the rest of the toys. It looked like it wasn't quite set up yet, and the posters were all bundled together in plastic wrap still. I tracked down a very sweet employee, and she, after looking for a price on the unopened posters and finding none, told me that they must be complimentary, and let me take one of each I wasn't even buying ponies since I'd already gotten them all.

So yes, the posters do exist and they are actually free. WalMart, you have pleased me. For now

Haha, if they still have them next time I'm in, I'll try to grab extras to help out my lovely Arena brethren. But no promises-- you know how Walmartians are, there may not be anything left by the time I go back e_e

Argh, my Walmart is lame.  I don't think they've ever stocked blind bags.  And the newest things they had were glimmer wing Daisy Dreams and the Luna/Celestia fashion styles.  Alas...

For those who still need to know EXACTLY where they are, they aren't in the isle with the ponies.  Or at least they weren't for me.  Here, they were at the end of the isle in a cardboard stand covered with pony vectors (some from non-wave 1 Blind Bags!) and it said "Pony Time" or "Pony Power" on the side.  The posters were at the side of the cardboard stand.  It was actually kind of impressive for a Walmart!
