While I'm waiting on a shipment from Dollyhair to finish up Pony, I started on a plushie. I just need to finish the mane and tail, and ta-da!

Anyone know how to get the hooves flat? Mine looks like she's got platforms on :\  Maybe I'm cutting my hooves too large for the leg opening?

Dolphinwing's pattern is the BEST filly pattern, for reals.

EDIT - Oh!  For the hooves, I find that I can get them flatter by stuffing the legs while holding them flat against a table.  Like, stand her up and make sure you hold the hoof flat against the table while stuffing the leg.  You can flatten them further by occasionally mashing them against the table while you stuff other parts of her.    I think it's just the nature of DW's patterns that they have rounded hooves.

Hopefully, I can get it done while DH takes DD to Build-a-Bear this afternoon to get Rarity!

The hooves are driving me nuts LOL. Maybe I'll try banging her on the table...she does have the beanie pellets in her feet, since most pony plushies seem to be front-heavy.

Yes, Shannon minky is much softer, finer, and shorter than the stuff Joann sells.  It's also thicker and less stretchy.  Your minky here looks a lot shaggier than the minky I get at my Joann though!
