I think piggy values have gone up, the more commons (like Minty) sell for about $250 to $300, and the rare's (like Perla etc...) about $450 to $500, highly dependent on condition. Intact eyelashes, hair cuts and discoloured bodies will greatly affect prices.
The German's I'm not as familiar with. $100 to $150 each? The blue one is more popular. They don't seem to come up to often.

Wow! This is so crazy. Very much like actual dreams I’ve had except I always wake up before actually getting to posses the ponies. I was hoping that I might get to snag a couple of these for decent prices with the market basically being flooded at the moment. But the Baby Firefly thing is concerning :/ and I just looked and it looks like that bidder only has 1 feedback. Very scetchy....
I actually messaged them on eBay and informed them about our suspicions, they responded with the fact someone had informed them earlier of the "trickster" so they're gonna change the rules next pony batch.
But wouldn't the most likely cause of this be shill bidding? Where the seller is artificially raising prices? Because I can't think of any reason for a normal bidder to inflate prices like that...

I bought an entire lot of Brazilian ponies just for a hat. A different hat this time, but I still just wanted the hat. I'm very serious about ponywear. I also have a pile of Brazilian ponies for trade/sale now:/
This topic should've been posted on the Nirvana forum. That's where the South African and Takara pony buyers hang out. I've got a few big-ish ticket ponies, but those ponies take the cake! Ouu Brazilians you say? I'm really want Brazil NSS Windwhistler - don't suppose you have her for sale? And haha, yea so I'm one of those Nirvana buyers, but I had to hard limit myself to no more than $500 per pony. So no Africans or Takaras for me! My most pricey was baby Greek Minty and my collection is worth about 5 grand all told. Which for a nirvana collector is actually remarkable self control! Well that's what I tell myself LOL

Right now, I'm just keen to replace a few I regret selling a few years back. Brazil Windwhistler, Piggy Blossom, Argie White Confetti, and my biggest regret - MOC Princess Tiffany (which I somehow only have a pic of her backcard left?? *dies*). Haha, the hardest part is not buying new lovelies that catch my eye while I wait for these girls to come home. So tempting to overspend!
