I have the shy pose version and her wedding dress from childhood, but she's in a little bit of a state with pindot on her legs, missing shoes and broken ring (poor thing!) but I still love her. Here's my girl: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI always think she looks a bit odd in the US pose, I suppose I'm just so used to seeing her as the blushing bride!

Plush Bushwoolies would have been amazing - Ivy, yours are so cute! - it feels like a real missed oppotunity on Hasbro's part. And over here we didn't even get the little molded ones; I love the baby dragons of course but BUSHWOOLIES.

I voted to send the money back, I'd just feel too guilty to keep that much. (Although that it a heck of a lot of money for a child to have squirrelled away and if we were talking about only 10 or 20 pounds I probably would keep it - and if it was jewellery I would definitely send it back)

I cut my finger open on the Pony School Pals set, but the playful pony packages have been okay so far - it's just a case of slicing the sellotape on both sides and the bottom and then pulling the plastic bubble off the card.
My lovely new Cherry Pie has a dented rump though, which I think is from the way she was held in the plastic tray.

I went pony hunting today without success. TRU had no singles at all (but still a tonne of G3.5s!) but I assumed they were stocking the luggage ponies like everywhere else, now I'm sad to hear that they probably had Cherry wotsit and Diamond Rose and I just missed them  Oh well, hopefully they'll restock soon.

Have you tried using acetone on Pinkie's black mark? I've had a couple of ponies have mysterious black smudges fresh the box and they've (so far) all wiped off with acetone. Obviously you'll have to be careful of her eyes/symbol. As hathorcat says, over here they sell "Doktor Power Magic Erasers", JML's website suggests they sell in Ireland as well as the UK: http://www.jmldirect.com/eu/doktor-power/doktor-power-magic-eraser/invt/d03me30100000001/As for the denture cleaner idea, I don't know, but if you do decide to do some experiments it'd be fascinating to see how it works out.

I have to admit, the more I read about this trademark business the less sense I can make of it! Just looking at a few bits and pieces of merchandise and the H&M retro hairclips say this: "HASBRO and its logo, MY LITTLE PONY and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro and are used with permission", which seems a tad vague, and I couldn't see a trademark notice at all on the dollymix packs, just the copyright and 'used with permission' notice.
Anyway, I think we have to believe that whatever Hasbro owns or doesn't they'll have a legal team all over it making sure they aren't losing any money.

I like to think the jewels act as sunglasses, rather than replacing the actual eyes coz that's just gory and disturbing!
I do love that someone somewhere decided to try to explain the TEs rather than just shrugging and saying "hey, they're toys, who cares?"

Don't panic! Pony hair is remarkably resilient, what you mostly need is patience!
Use lots of conditioner, carefully comb out the hair and once it's untangled you could try using straighteners to defrizz it.

Aww, that Chat article made me smile! And I'm sure I've said this before but your collection is amazing.
It's a shame that some of the Sun commenters don't understand the spirit of collecting, but there are sadly always miserable twerps out to rain on other people's happiness. I'm glad to hear you're not letting them get you down.

I was going to ask if Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie had been seen here yet, everytime I check the ponies in the supermarket not only are they the luggage ponies but the stock has barely even gone done in months. If they're waiting for them all to sell it feels like we'll be waiting forever.
