So....some ebay scalper apparantly has in hand US Clawdeen/Howleen giftsets

Now I just have to find someone willing to pick them up for me when they become more widely available (no targets within shelling distance of me. I live in a void)

Presuming they are around me and I'm able to. I'd be happy to pick you up a set.

Ok, wow!  I was at Kmart last night and I found Sweet 1600 Clawd!  He rang up for $19.99 at the register.  Awesome. Price. (there was no "sale" sign for them anywhere, so use one of their store's price checkers to be sure!)

The regular Sweet 1600 doll price at Kmart was $21.50 I think, which is also pretty great for that particular line.  Check out your Kmarts!!

Good to know. I may have to check out Kmart once the next batch of dolls come in.

Thats so not okey! D: I haven't seen them in Sweden, but this scares me since the price usually don't differ so much from the prizes in Finland :'( How come they keep adding so much to the costs!?
I usually order my dolls online, it's simply rediculous with prices here! But I't would be so nice to pick out a doll on the shelf to make sure her make and clothes are good for once T__T

They retail at £25 in the UK - thats $40 which isnt as bad as you are being hit in Scandinavia but both are a heck of a mark up on the US price...

Gahh I hate living so far from Toys R Us! The one I go to is notoriously bad about actually looking for things for me when I call so I don't know whether to believe them when they say they don't have something in stock or not. I really want those twins... now! Hopefully the one I go to doesn't get them and sell out before I have a chance to go. *nervous*

UGH I had that problem when i lived in Vermont -- the only state without a Target....it was depressing to say the least

I am hope hope hoping that I find the twins this weekend when we go to TRU....or at least a 1600 Clawdeen...need to pick up a doll or two to surprise my stepdaughter

I just got the twins! But out of 4 sets, only 1 had ok paint. The rest had their noses smeared on the box.

How much were they?

I have a KMart right here in Killeen. So at least one still exists in Texas!


Also, I can check a couple of TRU's on Tuesday and pick up an extra set or two of the twins if people are interested. It would be Cost+shipping, I am willing to debox if that's what the person wants.

They are listed at 34.99 on the shelves, with tax here it was 37.87 for 1 set.

Yeah, they were $34.99 (as opposed to the pre-order that was 29,99).

The smeared nose is really only on the twin that's on the shallow side of the box. I guess they should have made the box a bit bigger.

Oh hey, well, that's cool! A little too far from DFW for me, but still. I know there were lots around here when I was little but they're all closed or a different store now.

Yeah, $35 is the normal TRU price for a 2-pack off the shelf I'm pretty sure. So the lack of stands and accessories is certainly not about getting us a lower price, though I suppose if production costs have really gone up that much since last year it might be keeping the price from going up. I still don't like it!
