To distract myself from all the exciting new dolls that pop up in this thread I'm trying to find a new look for my Frankie, who's been somewhat underappreciated lately. So I put her in one of my hand sewn dresses, fixed her hair and then took her out in the last bit of sunshine today.

This seller made the most adorable black Victorian steam punk dresses. If only they weren't $30! Still, it's do beautiful that I think I may buy it anyway...it'll never go out of style.

DOTD Frankie and Lagoona both came in today! I'm very excited. Frankie is so terrifically 80's, and I like Lagoona's outfit much more in person. I love her makeup and shoes, of course, but this fauxhawk has got to go! I can see where Mattel was trying to go with it, and the concept is cool, but you can't mass-produce good fauxhawks.

I've had some success with restyling Fearleading Draculaura's hair, but I'd rather have to rehair Lagoona than have this mohawk! Ooh, maybe blue...

 Has anyone heard anything about Classroom Draculaura being made?  That girl looks incredible without bangs, and the entire outfit is just so appealing!  She is beautiful, probably my favorite Draculaura design ever.  I really hope she gets made!  But I haven't heard a lot about her. :<

Isn't there going to be a Dot Dead Gorgeous release of Ghoulia?  I'm just assuming that's who's pictured here: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Or perhaps she is a Sweet 1600 case refresh doll?  I've noticed that she appears to have glittery hair, and I don't think the other Dot Dead Gorgeous dolls we've seen have that feature.  But she IS wearing a dress with dots on it...
I know that GR Cleo is used in that photo but it seems unlikely that that's the design for a GR Ghoulia.

EDIT:  Sirithfin, your Frankie looks INCREDIBLE.  That dress is gorgeous!! <3

Oooh, that picture makes me want to deck my Lagoona out in pearls! But not in the way I did with Ghoulia- like mermaid pearls- with shells and everything.




Oh, and that Draculaura! I don't like her, or her character all that much, but I love that design.

I adore that version of Draculaura! They really need to make her. It's one of her best outfits yet. She would have been a way better choice for production than Phys Dead Ghoulia. >.> A PE outfit and sneakers is just not "fashion" that appeals to me.
 
I'd also love to see the 1600 versions of Ghoulia, Lagoona, and Holt be made! Holt in a snazzy tux, Ghoulia with that gorgeous updo, sparkling red dress and amazing eyeball motif everywhere, and Lala looking pearly and adorable in her mini-dress! Someone made a custom version and it was just the most beautiful Ghoulia EVER.
 
I'm really sad that Lala's Dot Dead Gorgeous look wasn't taken from this 1600 design, as what they used instead isn't as lovely. I think a DDG Ghoulia with hers isn't an impossibility, since it does have circles all over. I'm not without hope since GR Cleo seems to have been based on her 1600 art, as mentioned.

So I trimmed the sides of Clawd's hair last night. I couldn't stand it do long and girl like. Now he looks a bit more manly!

I'd love to see photos! This is what I am planning to do when I get Clawd. I would love to see a properly long haired boy in the line though... That's my type of guy. 

I agree with everyone who wants Classroom Draculaura, she's my favourite doll and that's a great outfit on her! They've designed her and she's got her niche, it can't be too much to hope for, can it?

Funnily enough, although DL is my favourite, I own more versions of Frankie. It seems to me like Mattel can't make a Frankie that doesn't look amazing, whereas I skip any DLs with yellow in her outfits, it's so garish and clashing with her style of classical themed outfits.

Oh, no... That does look like GR Cleo. I hope we still get the other 1600 dolls. That Lagoona is just too cute.

I'm still majorly bummed Classroom Draculaura hasn't been released either. I want her outfit so badly.

I'm excited to hear the werecat twins are out. (Congrats, Ms.Twilight! What a sweet guy you have! ) Hopefully I'll be able to run by TRU tonight so I can check for them and pick up a few blindbag ponies.
