I saw it in TRU located in Atwater Village, CA a week or so ago, but I didn't buy it. Actually, all I can find now in stores are CAM parts and various accessories (i.e., children's clothes, lip gloss, etc.).

Completely different note -- wtf??????

One of the werewolf girl heads i received to work on is....infuriating. if this is a new trend we can forget about rooting anything but ponytails from here on in.

There is a completely separate price at the apex of the head where the wig hole is that is HARD PLASTIC!

Its enough to make me want to curse. I have to check my spare head and see if its soft plastic. But this is so wrong >.< how is this better/cheaper than having the head all one price of soft plastic??
I had that exact problem with my bee girl - almost snapped a needle trying to hair that part. Just gave up and rooted around the edges, and it gave a nice amount of body, considering. So far she's been the worse, while my wolf was tough, but manageable. Maybe it's because the earless gals have less plastic in their moulds, so they need a little more stabilizing?

This is rather weird about the CAM heads. I have the skeleton, and while there is a little ring on her head, it's still soft plastic and I was easily able to stick a needle through it. However, someone who is rehairing my CAM sea monster told me that she tried rehairing a different skeleton, and it had a really hard cap. So maybe they've made them in different batches - some with hard caps and some with soft? I dunno.

My sea CAM vamp head is squishy all over, but the sea monster is hard in the scalp. *shrug*

Tuneful - when you mentioned the skeleton I went and flipped mine over to peek inside (she's on my craft shelf, waiting for her hair). It has a seperate hard piece glued into the crown, compared to the one-piece that my 3-eyed gal is made off. O.o Maybe they had batches made at different factories?

Thanks for letting me know, Rococo! :) I'm looking to buy the CAM Bee Add-on for my birthday so if anyone can still find it in stores and doesn't mind picking it up for me I'd be eternally grateful. <3

Just so you guys know, it's not just earless monsters with hard heads. I just got the vampire/sea monster pack, and they both have that problem. :( Which is a shame, because I wanted to reroot the sea monster in a color that definitely isn't sold in a wig. I guess I'm going to have to learn how to make a wig myself.

Of note, I just ordered my skeleton through Toys R Us via eBay. Perhaps she's from a newer batch?

I have seen the fashion packs (except for the club ones) in australia :) check out kmart and target :)
mainly kmart.

Heh, I haven't gone to Kmart for a while. :P I should probably look there. Their prices are usually quite good.

Before I run off there, though... How much do the fashion packs cost?

Yup. The presence of a tail hole definitely made me think that it's probably a newer version... *sigh* I wonder if I'd be able to trade with anyone with an older version.
