Yup, her head was just sitting on top of her neck! Good thing they have those plastic 'prongs' attached inside. I didn't even notice when I picked her up in the shop, it was only when I'd pulled out the inner card of the box I went 'wut?'. With a small amount of effort her head just popped back on though, and you'd never know.

I found SS Frankie at Fred Meyers two days ago here in Alaska and put her on hold until yesterday when I got paid.  When I went to pick her up the manager told me that they had to put them all in the back and off the shelves again because the manufacturer has a certain release date they are supposed to be released on and they had put her out too early on accident.   I was so frustrated!!  I ended up finding her for $11.99 on the Shopko website though, so now I just have to wait for her to ship.  Still mad though.. I had her in my hands, darnit!

Tempting, but I don't know if I'd trust ordering from Shopko again.  I tried with the Pinkie Pie ornament before Christmas and they had my account tied up with the pending charge for about 3 days before they let me know they were out of stock and cancelling my order.  Poor inventory control in place there.

Yay, my local Justice store just gave me a call to let me know that SS Frankie came in and that they're setting one aside for me to pick up tonight!

I love the people who work there, they're always so nice. They were great in helping me track down Gil a few months ago as well. The employee I spoke with told me that she didn't think there would be any extras since there were a lot of people looking for her, but if I find any I'll pick some up.

My boyfriend also offered to buy Rochelle for me next week if I can catch her online.<3 I'm really excited for her doll, I absolutely love her design and I think her shy expression and pet are both really cute.

Thanks! Heh yes it does. I would still kill for a normal camera so I can take some nice inside pics- but I'll deal with the natural light for now.


EDIT: Also! I know the minutes I get Rochelle I'm taking tons of pics with her by that metal pole-decoration thing.

I take my pics in front of a window actually! I just put that silly white throw down as a backdrop. Nothing beats natural light! (OK, maybe a really really good lightbox, but then you don't get that natural look. It looks like it's done in a photography studio.)
