I'm so glad to have finished this set, and spent way too much for Pockets and Hoppy but finally all the kids are together!

I use Origins products for lotion, face wash, foundations and sun/skin care. Expensive but plant based.

After looking at Jackson and passing on Holt so many times that now the only place to find him is ebay where he's at least $10 more than retail plus another $8 to $10 for shipping I've decided to skip both dolls. I'm only a tiny bit relieved though as I'm still needing Nefera, Cupid and Howleen to complete my collection till the new ghouls are out.

Off Topic / Re: Honda Vs Toyota
« on: February 15, 2012, 06:32:43 PM »
I was given a Honda accord with 100K miles on it. I put another 100K miles on it with nothing but gas and oil changes, then gave it to a cousin who had it another 50K on it. One window quit rolling all the way up, the passenger side indoor handle broke off and the paint had blistered to a green with purplish bits (hence her name "the broccoli car") but the motor was a rock!
We have two Toyotas now. Dh has a 97 Tacoma with 200K+ and I have a 92 Prius with 155K on it (Periwinkle, and she has needed a couple of things replaced- the catalytic converter and a water inverter pump. Roughly 2 grand worth of work but she gets 40 miles per gallon in city so I only fill up every 10 days to two weeks.)
Love both companies!

We saw it this morning and enjoyed it because I was taking my daughters to see a Star Wars movie in a theater together. Gennybean is 5 and had her face painted like Darth "malt" last night at a school fair. She asked when we were going to see it again this afternoon. Told her we weren't going to but maybe we'll get the entire box set at some point. Hulalei wanted it  (the box set) for Christmas but she got an I pad so she understood why we she wasn't getting much else.

Well, I came to the TP around 2002 around the time I discovered Ebay. I have 4 from my original collection including FF Butterscotch that I got when I was 4, 30 years ago.

Won these guys Wednsday: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170770562410&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1123
Now I know I spent twice what they're worth but they complete the set for me and I was sick of looking for them. They are close to mint and have the original accessories so there's that.

HEB is where I found them. Walmart had the next best price at $22.50
The husband won't notice after they're open and mixed in, I just don't want to open them in front of him!

Off Topic / Kids and random pickyness!
« on: January 29, 2012, 04:36:35 PM »
So My Gennybean is 5 and somewhat more picky than my other daughter (but less picky than my DH, although he's less dramatic about it.)
Yesterday the drama was over...wait for it... I put macaroni and cheese on her plate and her chicken touched it! She also doesn't like beef stew but if I call it pot roast she wolfs it down. Chicken curry, no thank you. Chicken fried rice, yummy. SAME thing, different name will induce gagging and crying.
She even liked mac and cheese until this time and she's not a toddler anymore so I thought we'd be out of the food strikes by now!

OMG! I just went to my grocery store for milk and honey and walked out with Cleo's vanity and Operetta for $19 each! TRU has the vanity for like $35 at least!
They are currently hidden in my car as DH (dear husband) is not keen on me adding to my collection. Can't wait to open them!

Anyone have an extra Holt (complete) for sale or can pick one up for me? He's the only signature doll I didn't end up getting when I had the chance.

My fave when I was 5: What do you get when you pour boiling water down a rabbits hole? Hot cross bunnies!

Samoas for me, Lemonades for Hula, PB sandwiches for my DH and whatever she can get her hands on for Gennybean!
There are two different Bakers for GS cookies and one has the traditional names and the other has the generic names. Our sales start tomorrow, on my birthday!
Diamond, do you think we could maybe do a swap for some of the flavors we don't get for a few that you don't get?

I'm pretty open about it but quite literally I am a closet collector. My husband is not overly fond of my ponies so I use the walk in closet in our room to keep my ponies ( and Strawberry Shortcake, Sea wees, Shimmers and LPS collections.)
