Title: Sunbeam Plushie
Post by: Emberfly on October 13, 2018, 12:51:38 PM
So, I've been trying to finish Sunbeam for a couple of years so far and she's now done!  She's 15" tall, to the tip of her horn.  Overall I really like her.  Her hair is a very soft yarn and I love how it feels.  What do you think?  What should I try to improve for my next plushie, whenever that may be?

Unfortunately, I need to fix my machine to get a better finish on the embroidery.

She's available for sale if anyone's interested.

She's adorable :)

Did you make the pattern yourself?

Thanks for your kind words!

Did you make the pattern yourself?

Yes and no.  I started out with three different patterns from different people, took what I liked from each and continued to tweek the pattern.  Each plushie I make gets a pattern update to 'fix' things I don't like.

Ohhhh...she is just so gorgeous. My favorite G1. So beautiful!

edit: the last pic re: your comment on her embroidery. It just looks like the bobbin case needs to be cleaned out to firm up the stitching. I'd probably cheat and use black bobbin thread because my machine is a brat! It looks amazing in any case!
