I bought this from eBay. She has a Japanese tag. I was just wondering if she was a fake or authentic. Either way, I'm in love with her. She's just too cute.  ^.^

I have no idea, but she's stunning!

All I can say is that it says my little pony on the tag (at least I think so, I suck when it comes to japanese :biggrin:)

It does say My Little Pony on it, but I suspect it's a fakie, as all authentic Japanese MLP merch has ”マイリトルポニー友達は魔法” or "My Little Pony Friends are Magic" (yes friends, they say that instead of friendship) on it.  Frontwinner or OnlyFactory sell fakies like this.

Yup as nogames says, she is a bootleg plush - being made without license but branded up as MLP :) She certainly is cute though.

Look up Cherries Jubilee plush on eBay and you can find her! :D

Even though she's fake I still love her. Thank you all so much for the info! It's great to have her identified. I may buy more of their plushies because they are some of the best I've seen.

I have Cherry too (I picked her for her 50s 'do and for her G1 ancestry ;) ) and Big Mac - they make a lovely couple :D I don't normally buy fakies/bootlegs, but I thought they were cute and when they arrived I was impressed by the quality for the price.

Oh they are definitely all mass produced if they are by Frontwinner. It may be that fans submitted images of custom ponies they liked- or it may be that they got the designs direct from DA.  Or it may be that fans submitted pictures to them of customs from DA that they liked.  IE Vampire Pinkie, Rossela (?I assume she is an OC?) and dozens of other ponies based on fan art or background characters.  Rossela is pretty cute I'll admit, although I have long since learned my lesson about buying unknown OCs
