I think that it would be great to refer to her as Tambourine! As someone who grew up in a conservative part of America, I've only realized that the word G*psy (and the related verb that I heard all the time at home) is seen by some as a slur relatively recently, and I've had to do some real work to remove it from my personal vocabulary. The most helpful article I've found related to this is this one by a Romani author. To quote another article (I won't link to this one since it uses some Arena-inappropriate language), "I keep [the word] out of my vocabulary because Naomi, a marginalized person who has had the word used against her, says that the word is dangerous." If members of a marginalized group find a term historically used to describe them offensive or derogatory -- even if it's a fraction of the group, or a certain subset of it -- it's best to avoid using that term. We don't lose anything at all by referring to this particular pony as Tambourine, so I'm all for it.

Thank you so much for the compliments and the warm welcome back! I actually thought I had the wrong 'before' picture for a moment there too. I have three Baby Stockings right now that all needed help to varying degrees, and I was sure I'd mixed them up until I realized I hadn't taken befores of the two that just needed little touch ups.

Thank you! Yeah, I ended up repainting her pupils and irises entirely; that warm gray was really hard to match perfectly, so it was easier to just redo the entire thing.
And thank you for the reminder. I didn't want to clog the forum with tiny side projects, but it is nice to get more comments!

That's amazing! You really made the most of all of the molded details, and those colors? A huge improvement over the original!

Aw, what a cute set of customs! I love the color combo, and the dip-dye looks fantastic.

I adore TAF Buttons! Her weird color scheme/theme is baffling and charming.

She's stunning! That's a great color palette -- subdued, but elegant.

Thank you, thank you! I really like the name Afterglow; that's an awesome suggestion.

Thank you for the kind comments, friends -- especially about the Mimics! I'm way more shaky and arthritic than I was the last time I was customizing, so detail work is a real challenge.

Hello there! I've been working my way up to doing customs again, and here are some of the victims results! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginG4 Fluttershy, made with... G4 Fluttershy? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMini Mimics made with a blind bag and one of the little figures that comes with Hershey's Kisses. I know her colors are kind of off model... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI've just been calling this one Sunset. Let me know if you have any name suggestions! I promise I'll have something more exciting to share soon! Getting back into customizing after years away is proving a bit more challenging than I expected, but I'm so happy to be back on the Arena and posting customs again. I've got more pictures up on my Instagram for any pony folks who hang out over there. Everyone but Fluttershy is up for sale over here if any of them call to you. Prices are on the low side since they're... you know, a bit flawed.

He looks so cute as a G3 baby! His little socks are sweet and you really did do a good job with his tiny symbols.
