I found a bunch of character shorts at Walmart including Barbie, Stich and other Disney characters, but no MLP ones. Was I looking in the right section?
Ponyfan
Maybe they don't have em in your store yet?
It's possible some stores may never get them. Not all Walmarts will carry the the same things 100% of the time. My Walmart doesn't have any mlp in the toy section but the other walmart that is on the other side of town had some

I will say.... the 5 Below styling head ponies are weird from the side view. I may get another one though once I figure out what to do with this one in terms of how I could make a body for her visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I skimmed my Walmart's kids section for the shorts but nothing stood out to me as MLP
Edit: Went to 5 Below and found the pony head thing but also found on the wall where the graphic t-shirts are located, an image of Firefly with the text "To the Moon"... Could not find the shirt and the lady that was assisting at self-check (technically she was using the self-check as a normal checkout lol) said she hadn't seen that shirt for a few weeks. I'll get an image up of the graphic if no one else does soon

What section of Walmart were these in?
Shorts section. They were like, 11 bucks.
Short Section? Don't think any of my Walmarts has a section dedicated to just shorts It's either Girls/Boys, Young Ladies, and Women's/Men's. Oh an socks/undergarments/sleepwear lol I guess I get to go hunt around to see if my store even has this

Look at the shorts I found at Walmart! Wave Runner! I'm buying two. One to wear, and one to turn into a patch.
What section of Walmart were these in?

Wasn't sure if this should go in this thread (because it's new) or the BF thread (because it's retro), but I don't think these are made by Basic Fun so I guess I'll put it here?
Apparently these Starshine styling head thingies have been found at Five Below: http://queenofsquids.tumblr.com/post/747136817622564864
Anyone seen these? They're a bit weird for me, but it's nice seeing more retro stuff
I kind of want to get one and 3D print a body for it

When I first join I didn't have the idea of a ponysona. It just kind of happened. Seafoam here actually started out as my very first pony custom and since I didn't know what I was doing and wanted things to be simple... she doesn't have a traditional symbol though, her spots do loop on both flanks and wrap around her wings onto her back. She became my ponysona because someone said something after noticing I was creating her a few times more than any other pony visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Well I was able to check my other Walmart (still haven't had a chance to check Target)
Walmart #1: Smaller but tends to have a better selection of things than the older Walmart in the area. No MLPs nor Sparkle Girl Ponies (only those lesser fakies that are on the knock off brand aisle and even then it's just 1 box lol)
Walmart #2: Older but larger, did have some Gen 5 mlp items... but it was only the Make Your Mark - Styling Ponies and the Mini World Magic Critter Corner (maybe some of the other mini worlds as well but Critter Corner was the one that I saw)
Funny enough I looked on Walmart's site to find the Critter Corner one because could not 100% remember what it was to find it on MLP Merch... and the site said it was out of stock even though I saw it a few days ago (and I know it ain't moving fast)

I used to see kids in the pony section of toy stores, and also kids walking around with pony design clothing, or build a bear plushes, or the ponies themselves.
I have not seen that for G5, once.
I think variety would help.
I do see kids in other aisles and with other toys. Just not ponies.
My Walmart doesn't even have a pony section any more I have yet to check the other Walmart(s) or Target

The Walmart I go to has had no ponies since... October? Maybe September? I just know it was a good while before Holiday stuff.
I haven't checked the other Walmart nor Target yet but I have a feeling at least the other Walmart will not have much in the way of ponies.

I'm hearing elsewhere online that Books A Million has the blind box sets, so if you have one near you go check it out! I'm also hoping that we may see these pop up in the "weird shops" like TJ Maxx or Ross, since that's where I found a couple of the Basic Fun TE ponies! (Only Sweet Stuff, but hey! A win is a win!)
I've also seen the Celestials on the Walmart app, so it's worth a look if Amazon if sold out!
I keep forgetting about BaM, I might swing by mind sometime soon just to see if it has the blind boxes

Yeah, it'll be a quiet holiday season for MLP it seems.
Was there a toy fair or something similar this year? I completely forgot.
I think there was but I don't really remember what was there... I remember Basic Fun having the retro ponies and mystery boxes but as for gen 5 official mlp... I don't recall

Hmm there seems to be a decline in new releases for MLP stuff. That is a bit of a worry.
