Congrats Snapdragon. I'd love to see the picture of the bag. I got glow in the dark Applejack but didn't notice that the bag was different.

I, um, I have an embarrassing confession to make. I pulled my two newest girls out today, for their photo ... and I realized they have the same bag. I just looked at the wrong side when I opened Applejack, so I THOUGHT she had a different one, with a more TAF-logo design. But it's the same bag!! It just has two different patterns! False alarm!

I did notice that they were both put in the bag upside-down when I opened them, however! I wonder why? :O Won't the ponies get dizzy?!

No worries Snapdragon. I kept wondering if my Glow in the Dark Applejack's bag was different from yours since I didn't notice anything special about mine.  Most of my ponies were upside down or tail first in the bags when I opened them.

Tulips I'm pretty sure the glitters replace the other chase figures which is why they are a hot topic exclusive.

She was actually stacked in a display pyramid on a table, so no clue as to where she was packed originally unfortunately.

I got Minty from Hot Topic, her front left leg pops off very frequently, is this a problem on all of them? It doesn't even "pop" on/off and the hole doesn't look as undercut as the other limbs.

I wouldn't treat their placement in the display as a method of finding chase figures just in case staff members or customers have moved boxes. Unless you get a sealed case you can't be certain. The store I buy from puts price stickers on all of the individual boxes, and I'm sure the staff member who does that isn't going to the effort of putting them back exactly as they were.

I haven't seen any mention of other GITD variants - she's the only one listed on the box, anyway! Maybe they'll do a Wave 2? :O Someday?

I'd love a Wave 2. I wonder who they'd make. Time will tell but I'd love for there  to be wave after wave like there are with the G4 blindbags.

The glitter variants there are: AJ, Princess Sparkle (as a unicorn), Minty, and Firefly...
Wasn't one of the figures at SDCC a glitter Minty or Firefly?

There are several different "Pack outs" available from the MLP line - 3 different ones so far. Different retailers get different chase figures/exclusives like how Books a Million gets the regular Gusty, Snuzzle, and Lickety Split.

There was a case at SDCC that you could buy individual boxes from that had three other exclusives than Hot Topic/Box Lunch and Books a Million. It had a Glitter Applejack, Glow Firefly, and Flocked Minty.

My Minty from Hot Topic seems okay. I have seen some Loyal Subject ponies with their legs separated from the body when I opened the foil package though.

We don't have Minty, but Firefly's wings pop off.
