The loyal subjects vinyl figures. I got one! Anyone else seen them?

One interesting aspect is that the little "intro paper" that comes with each pony is a short summary of her backcard story (at least it was in Princess Sparkle's case) BUT at least two ponies being released never had a proper backcard story: Minty and Snuzzle.

I spotted Minty on eBay and it looks like they just improvised a backcard story for her.  It's pretty cute!  It says she loves the smell of mint, so whenever she finds a mint patch she rolls around in it until she smells like mint too.

That could also explain why Minty is mint-colored, too.

I vastly prefer to know what I'm buying so I don't like the whole idea of blind-bags and boxes anyway and I'd prefer to buy from a member knowing what pony I'm getting to finding them in a store and buying "blind"ly.  I don't like lottery tickets or any games of chance either, but I know a lot of other people do.  it's funny how current pony blind bags give us a peek-window so they're only as blind as we want them to be.  I've peeked at every one I've bought.

I kinda don't like that we still call them "blind bags" after we've opened them up and know who they are either.  It's like they are cursed to be blind forever because of how they were sold.  Now, bags that can see would be sinister too....when shopping for ponies, some of the packages are looking back at us.  Creepy!  They could make some kind of joke about that in a Toy Story sequel.

It's kinda odd that a "case" is only 16 ponies....that seems more like a "carton" or a "flat" and a "case" sounds more like it should be 144 or something, haha.  Buying by the case does send a stronger vote for G1 retro merch than buying one does, too so Yaaay I hope you do it Foxtale.  Hope it gets you the ones you want.

I think i might break down and buy a whole case soon...

Do you guys care if they boxes have already been opened and you know who you are getting? I know the case will have doubles that I dont' have the space for. ;p

I wonder if the case layout thing with Funko Mystery Minis works with these? Can you keep track of who was where in casr it does?

I don't think so because I believe a case is 16 ponies..... and some have a 1/24, 1/96 and 1/48 chance while the commons have 1/12. While the chances for the Funkos matched the case quantity better no? But we will see. If I do get a a case I will keep track of it and hopefully others will so we can compare what we get.

Yeah we do.

We want very specific ones and I'm not paying 12-16 a pop to hopefully get the ones we want. Especially since Lickety-split and Snuzzle are rare.

Yeah that is true. I have a feeling I'm going to get a lot of Sundances and Fireflies.

That's Minty's story from the UK factfile! They've probably done the same thing for Snuzzle, I seem to think her factfile page mentions that she likes to cheer other ponies up by nuzzling them when they're sad.

Do the manes pop off like the tails?  Maybe we can mix and match like Swatches.

The manes do not pop off and I'm pretty sure the heads don't. I pulled on mine a little once I found out other joints do but it wasn't going and I didn't want to pull to much for fears of breaking her.
