I'm in Los Angeles and haven't seen them yet, but I've only checked a couple of Targets and there are a ton of them. It was extremely tough finding the rainbow ponies out here, but I got them all between 3 stores.

Now, I'm thinking this will be even harder because they have the same master DPCI as the collector ponies. Blerg. Lots of stores out here have the collector ponies, so to find out by phone, you have to explain to the employee the difference between them, lol. So far, I haven't had any luck on the phone, but at the very least, the two girls I've spoken to have been really nice/helpful and have looked at the ponies they have. I tell them it says "Unicorn and Pegasus Collection" on the box and the ponies will have unicorn horns or wings. I think this descriptor distinguishes them enough from the collector set for them to know the difference. Sure wish they had a different DPCI though, like the rainbow ponies, to make this easier on shoppers and store employees.

I saw that the rainbow ponies had individual DPCIs, but that always said they were "out of stock" in the greater Los Angeles area, when some of the stores did, in fact have them, under the master DPCI.

Can't we all just go to Target and get the collection and frolic with them? And then restock when they sell out, so we can all just have fun. PONIES FOR ALL!!

Introductions / Howdy!

Hi there,

Hope I'm posting my introduction in the right place. My name is Lauren, I'm in my 30's living in Los Angeles, CA. The 35th Anniversary (1st wave) release reinvigorated my love for ponies. I was an avid MLP lover as child and had  (what I thought at the time) was an extensive and beautiful collection of G1.

Unfortunately, I knew that most of my childhood ponies were gone, save for a few that I managed to save. I honestly can't remember who all I had, but as I begin to re-collect G1s and re-familiarize myself with them, it's slowly coming back who I remember playing with.

This might be silly, but my favorites were always the ponies with food on them, plus brush n grow. Glittering Gem and Sugarberry (who I both still have) were favorites as well as Bright Eyes.

I am working now on finishing a few sets including y6 & 7 brush n grow ponies (only Curly Locks left to get), Sweetberry Ponies (Cranberry Muffins and Raspberry Jam) and Candy Cane ponies--of these I only have two, Sugar Apple and Caramel Crunch, so I still have most left to track down.

I have a full set of Sundae Best and several other random ponies. I think I would also like to work on gathering a set of the Merry Go Round ponies and trying to pick up Twinkle Eyed ponies here and there as well.

Thank you for having me into the group and I look forward to being here. :)
