Hi all, I saved this photo off of ebay because I didn't know who the pony was, and intended to ask about her here nearly a month ago :shocked: slipped my mind, and surely the big G1 lot that she was in has since ended because I can no longer find the listing. I hope its ok to just post the photo. Who is this pony and where does she hail from? She's not on the mylittlewiki pages for either Tickle or Heart Throb... Did somebody from the arena possibly win the lot she was in and can provide info?

It's Italian coral-haired Tickle, a variant. :) Actually, I'm pretty sure someone here bought the lot, but I'll let her come forward if she wants.

She’s a lovely pony and KPF is right she is Italian :) she isn’t common, but does crop up from time to time.

Thanks guys for the info and gallery link! I thought her eyes looked like Italian paint ^.^ she just caught my attention because of the beautiful hair and body colour combo.

It is nice isn’t it? I think some of the unusual Italy ponies are prettier than the standard releases, Blue Moon and Lilac haired Flutterbye are two that stand out.

A few have been found in the UK the same is true of Blue Moon as well.

Hrm, I never really thought about Ireland as a potential gateway for some of the Italian and stuff ponies we found at second hand sales in the UK. Interesting. It would be easy to assume Ireland was the same as the UK but there's no reason why that should be the case. Ireland (Eire) isn't the UK, and who knows what trade deals they had with other countries for toys.

I hadn’t considered Ireland being different to the UK and that thread really opened my eyes and it now throws up some interesting possibilities.
