I think the helmet would be best made with an air dry clay, since oven baked stuff kind of shrinks more, so it would be harder to get the fit right. And i always order hair from http://www.dollyhair.com/ but there are other options that I haven't tried so its hard to give an opinion

And here's the lisa frank pony! I remember Tribble79 saying something about yarn hair in the form so i used that and I LOVE how the planets turned out (this is a work in progres pic as I forgot a pic before she got sent out, her eyes are solid black and the flowers on her feet ended up purple)
