Title: Squishmallows
Post by: BlackCurtains on December 26, 2021, 06:38:38 AM
Yes, I am incredibly late to this.

I've always been curious about them but since I don't physically shop anymore, I never felt one. Well, my niece let me squish her 16 inch giraffe and I NEEEEEED ONE

They are a little pricey though, but Amazon has this cute little lion for 19 bucks. It's a 12 inch, but it's hard to find the bigger ones and there are a lot of knockoffs.

I love his rainbow mane :lovey:

I like a lot of the other characters, like the cats and squid. Some of the food ones are cute.

Who has one? Or a collection of them?! I would dive into a pile!

My daughter has a bunch and yes they are soo squishy.  So are knock offs, but a lesser quality of squish if you can picture that.  My scaredy cat has a small one for a security object.  A black cat for a black cat.  Yep, Tic is weird...

I have some, mostly cats and dogs. They're pretty cute and squishy. I avoid them online due to people reselling them for unaffordable prices, I only get them if I find them in store and it's one I like. I got my first one in 2018, it was one of the keychains. I only have one knockoff and I only got it because it has little feet haha. I thought it was cute cause it looks just like a real one but has little nub feet. I got it from a Canadian seller who had a bunch, it has tags but doesn't say a company or anything.

My stepmom is obsessed with these, and takes any opportunity she can to buy them for both herself and family members. Because of this, I have quite a few, including both a regular calico and a rainbow calico to match my actual cat. They make nice pillows. :)

I love them and I want more   I have to really limit myself though because I will easily buy too many.

So far I have:
- HugMeez Bart the Fox
- Bernardo the Burrito 8"
- Miles the Dragon 16" (green, walmvart version)
- Bufinda the Skeleton Narwhal 8"
- Duchess the Deer 5"

I really just want the deer and dragon characters though :)

Lucky! I can't find the HugMeez anywhere.

My boyfriend found a fox and llama ones at the Dollar General he was working at I think over the summer? They were clearing off the risers and found them up top, so I'm not sure if they're even around anymore! His bff has the llama now.

I personally really want Ivy the Deer who is one of the big laying plushies but she was a Justice exclusive and those stores arent really around now.

I just got a Squishmallow in December. My youngest niece wanted one for Christmas and I found some in a online toystore. To get the most out of the shipping price I got one for myself as well  It's an 8" octopus called Olga. I got my niece the bee called Sunny. These are the first ones I have ever seen in real life and touched. I expected them to be like memory foam and was a little disappointed that they're not. But they are still cute and squishy.

Just FYI - check Walmart and Walgreens for the new valentines plushies!!

Walmart has some HugMe size squishmallows (a corgi, a unicorn, and a butterfly(?) ), some "Hugmallows" that have pockets on either side you can slip your arms through, and the regular type plushies in mullitple sizes with heart motifs!

I picked up a Hugmallow of Miles the Dragon to go with my 16" Miles. The gimmick was weird at first until I brought him home and gave him a good cuddle, it's actually pretty nice!

Omg I have so many of these and I've only bought one! My friend keeps gifting me them and now I have a collection lol. Though the hug me shark from target is an absolute must have!

Bekuno - Thanks for the heads up! I found a Hugmee shark on Walmart.com but gah, the price  I think I'll stick to checking Amazon.
