It's like the ultimate fantasy horse franchise for me. I'm so sad I missed its golden days :cloud: The art is gorgeous, the messages are inspiring, and that little web game looked very fun. I have played the 3DS game, tho, since I found it second-hand for cheap. It's not the end-all of gaming but as long as it lets me customize my own fantasy horse and make it gallop through beautiful landscapes, that's all I need.
Share your experiences, memories, favourite horses, reminisce. Have fun!

I had about a half-year phase with Bella Sara near the end of its life. I had so many cards, I had a few toys, a nightgown...unfortunately they got rather water damaged so I threw out most of them, but I do find some every once in a while if I'm cleaning. ^.^
My favorite set was the Baby Bella set, but I could only get one pack of them. I had the most of the Ancient Lights (?) set because Target had them as a budget thing.

I've met the creator before, he now is a consultant for non-profit organizations LOL
If I run into him at a professional event, I may ask him to sign some Bella Sara cards, teehee

I LOVED BELLA SARA. I remember when it was just virtual horses in a stable - I watched it gain things like games (my favorite was Firelight Festival), the bazaar, and the families. I found my old cards the other month, though I’m not sure where I put them afterwards.

I got in to Bella Sara right at the end so I was only able to get a couple series of cards, Treasures and Bella's Ball. I played the online game for a little while too.

I don't actually know anything about Bella Sara but I found a bunch of cards and miniature figures, some unopened at the thrift store a couple years ago. I thought the art was gorgeous so I bought them.

I have a few of the older ones ! The artwork was breath-taking I loved the water/mermaid horses the best. I'll have to scan some of them to share on here

I loved Bella Sara back when it was a thing! I wish it never died out. I loved the games too and the horses were so cute...I miss it.

I’m legitimately super excited to see this thread. I LOVED Bella Sara as a kid, and admittedly as an adult I still love them. I have my old collection – most of it is of series two and the Magical Friends line. Every time my family and I would go to Blockbuster I’d pick up a new pack. I remember throwing away card doubles which now I wish I didn’t do that, but oh well. The art on the cards are absolutely gorgeous and have a lot of variety. Granted they’re all horses but some of the illustrations are more serious and intense illustrations than one would initially expect. I think an excellent example of this would be Firewalker, which features a horse playing in fire as birds surround him (?). It's legitimately cool art.
I also have really found memories of the online game as well, but in hindsight I feel like it could have been more? All I really remember from it is taking care of the horses and the music (which thankfully is on youtube). Toys/cards connected to online games was a huge trend back in the day – Bella Sara was successful of creating an interesting magical world themed with horses, but yet I don’t really remember if the lore of the story, if there even was one.

I used to love that game as a young kid, when it was still the old version of the game with trading cards, the stable, the music, etc.
I was really bummed to come back and find the cartoony disney-esque version with baby horses, years ago.
I can't believe it's all gone now, what the heck!!
I just went to the site, everything is gone! Just a site advertising the release of a new app.
Though, the card gallery seems to be back up and a WIP, that's exciting. :)
I never owned any cards as a kid, but always really wanted some.
The first card set, the only one listed right now, is from 2005, wow!
They look pretty funky compared to the ones I remember. XD
Still some gorgeous ones, though. <3

oooh I loved Bella Sara but never got into collecting any of it, sadly. I dreamt about being an artist for it tho, even applied fresh out of art school. But they cancelled it shortly after. This thread makes me so happy, I miss Bella Sara.
