Lalaloopsy Ponies
« on: January 02, 2014, 08:23:24 PM »
I know I'm late to this game, but I'm just stumbled onto the Lalaloopsy ponies, and I think I might be hooked! Look how adorable these little toys are! (Also, for Canadians, I found this wave for about 3.50$ at Target since they are on clearance right now!).

These were the first wave, but there are other waves, sea ponies, mini-ponies, and lots of other interesting things as well! (Check out some of the current and upcoming releases here!: http://lalaloopsyland.wikia.com/wiki/Lalaloopsy_Ponies)

Who else collects these ponies, and do you have photos of your collections?

To our American friends, are you still seeing the sea ponies at Walmart? I'd like to get at least one, but they've been out of Canada for ages. I'm also interested in the Target Mini-Pony Christmas exclusives and am curious as to whether they are still around as well. Thanks!

Lalaloopsy pony question
« Reply #2 on: January 02, 2014, 11:06:12 PM »
Hey guys, I can't post pics atm but I have a question about Lalaloopsy ponies... mainly the Pony named Cashew. I don't know if she is from another wave or what as I have not kept track of these but didn't see the sea ponies at that walmart I went to (though I did see them at another walmart).

Anyway the issue with my Cashew is that 3 of her legs are soft but her green leg is stiff and when I tried to bend it a little the joint tries to pull away from the pony. I don't even know if it's the same plastic but yeah I'm wondering if I just got a bad one or if this is normal.

If not well I can replace her and custom the one stiff legged one.

How odd :(  I'm not sure as I've only seen them in stores but if the others in the set don't do that, perhaps you have a nirvana in the making?

I'm still trying to limit myself to the minis and a few special ones though the sea ponies are very tempting.

The Target Christmas set went on clearance and seems to be pretty much gone at this point.  I did grab a second set to possibly sell/trade later; so let me know if you want to work something out for it.  The sea ponies are still around last I checked.  I know one Walmart I was at had several last week, but others have very few remaining.  It should be possible to pick one up if you're not picky about which one.

I feel the need to go to Target and grab some of the dessert themed ones!  They are too cute!  I have all of them in the "standard" set except for one of the unicorns (the one who isn't Cashew, can't remember the name).   I don't have any seaponies, unfortunately.  They are so so so cute!   ^.^

I almost bought one at Walmart today, but I was there to buy a birthday present so had to tear myself away. I kept telling myself it never stops with just one lol.

I adore the mini ones especially but haven't bought any yet. I am pretty sad that I never noticed that Christmas set...I need to go check out some Targets and see if I can find one left anywhere!

:faint:

That's it... next time I'm in Target, I'm not holding back any more!

(PS @ Catlein - they have had the sea ponies in my local Wal-Mart for ages {lousy stock rotation champs for three years running!} so I'll see if they still do this weekend!)

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

Is your Cashew a blue unicorn? If so, none of her legs should move! She's part of the first wave and there were in static poses. Most of my legs are super stiff, though some have a bit of give to them, but not enough to actually move.

@Brightberry: Gorgeous photos! Thank you so much for sharing!

@Breyer600: Those are also some great photos! I'll PM you about the minis :)

@Sugar: Thanks for checking for me! I'll give you a shout if I track them down before then.
