I read all the time and always have

My choice of material has changed though. I used to read horror novels almost exclusively, but somewhere along the line I started reading encyclopedias and I haven't been able to stop Encyclopedias about animals (dogs, cats, fish, reptiles); encyclopedias on periods of time and certain cultures; space; invention - any I can get my hands on!

My brain... it hungers!

There's a bad side effect though, I no longer find fiction novels satisfying, even from my favorite authors

I picked very often because I LOVE books and reading. I get so sucked into my books that people have to touch me to get my attention, I never hear them talking 
Sadly I feel like this vote is a lie because this past year i've had very little time for reading like I used to. Trying to start a side business out of a crochet hobby. I'm so behind on some of my fav series

I love books and I collect and read them a lot , I really like the old ones i have the most.

I used to hate reading, but shortly after I got interested in Harry Potter, my friend sent me all the books for my birthday! I read them all and found out I really do enjoy reading I've read quite a few books since then

Well, I have a bachelor's in Scandinavian literature and I have to say that studying literature has endangered my reading enjoyment. But after taking a couple of year's break after that I love reading again although not as much and as constantly as I used to. Still, nothing can compare with the experience of reading a beautiful book for me, so they will always be a part of my life ^^

I used to read a lot of fantasy, then a lot of crime fiction, now I pretty much only read non-fiction. Most of what I read these days is about spaceflight and prototype airplanes.

I read a LOT. Especially lately. I have a job where I work 12 hour shifts at night and there is nothing to do. I just finished a book that's over 400 pages in two nights, heh. I have over 2000 books in my collection.

I read more before my boys started walking. It's something I grew up thinking I hated (because of my ADHD and my teachers had TERRIBLE taste in books  ) then found I loved when I was a young adult and discovered Jane Austen I want to read more, but I get really frustrated trying to read and getting constantly interrupted by the demands of motherhood. Maybe when I am an old lady I will get to read more . I mean, older.

And at my age....I have read heaps! Classics, fiction, biographies, autobiographies etc. etc. etc.
Now of course KIDS books.....to the grandchildren!
There is a whole room full of books in my house.....not to mention those in the toy cupboard and in boxes in various cupboards!
You can NEVER have/read too many books!
