Which collector pony is always warming the shelves around your area?
Here, its Minty.
-
I'm saying Minty too. But I actually see a lot of Butterscotch as well.
-
Shelves round here are cold as cold  . I haven't seen any of the 35th ponies in my area yet!
-
Butterscotch and Snuzzle have a hard time leaving the shelves in my area. I guess people want the ponies with the prettier colors more. I haven't seen any of the other sets save for a singer Parasol.
-
In my area it's usually Cotton Candy, Snuzzle and Butterscotch. One time I went to Target looking for Rainbow ponies and they had around 11 Collector Ponies. 6 of them were 3 Cotton Candy and 3 Butterscotch ponies

It's been spread out amongst three, but I saw two Cotton Candy's when I went and hour north yesterday. She's the last one I'd expect to be left behind!
-
Not that these are super common in my area, but I have seen Blossom in three different stores and one of the stores had like, 3 Blossom ponies. The one I have NOT seen yet is Cotton Candy so she might be the popular one!
-
I've only seen Snuzzle left behind in my area. Other times the shelves have been empty.
-
At first Snuzzle and Blue Belle were often getting left behind, but now it seems to be Blossom, which surprises me. Cotton Candy and Minty seem to sell the quickest.

Those two are my favourites :/ Butterscotch & Snuzzle are the prettiest collector ponies IMO.

They're my favourites too! Snuzzle is totally unique since she's grey, and I love that Butterscotch is pure gold, even her eyes! Especially since I mainly collect yellow ponies ;) So I bought them along with Minty.
I don't go to Target often and usually they're not able to sell anything pony-related that isn't a G4 plush. You could say everything there is a shelf warmer! Has anyone else seen this happen? Ponies never move yet the Lil' Woodzeez section is always cleaned out. When I got Moonstone and the Pretty Parlor I was actually surprised to see someone already bought Starshine!
If you want something more specific, there was this anniversary repro Share Bear sitting on the shelf for MONTHS. No other Care Bears, just her. She might still be there, Kind of disappointing, she's one of my favourites :/c

Sadly it seems to be Butterscotch here too. I have only seen Retro ponies in 2 stores - a John Lewis near where I now live and a toymaster affiliated store in another town. When I visited the other town store it had 2 Mintys, 1 Snuzzle and 1 Butterscotch. The John Lewis here (where I bought a Butterscotch) today had 2 of her, as opposed to 1 Minty and 1 Bluebelle. And neither Minty nor Bluebelle were there last time I visited, so they've put out new stock.
I have seen Blossom only once and Snuzzle only once. I have yet to see Cotton Candy on shelf anywhere! But the lady in John Lewis said they've sold a lot, so it might not be that Butterscotch is unpopular. Just less popular...
-
I would like to say snuzzle. But, I cant find those ponies in my area. :/
-
Cotton Candy went I went to a store last time. I don't have a Target in my town though.
-
We don't have them in SA, though I keep on asking Toys R Us, they keep on saying: 'no'. So no shelf warmers here.
-
At first it was Bluebelle, but now it's Butterscotch.
-
Snuzzle here. She was the first one I found, and always the last pony on the shelf. Poor thing! I think she's just darling. <3
-
This sounds terrible but... All of them. I currently live in like the middle of nowhere, so there is constantly a full set or two of the first wave overflowing on the endcap, so they never really restock them nowadays.. I’m literally the only one who buys them, and it’s become a joke amongst me and some of the employees there. They know me pretty well with how many times I have bothered them over the phone for ponies...
That's good for you, tho! You have a personal pony dealer  We just don't have them in stores at all so I can't say who sells the least.
All I know is people go hard for unicorns so I assume the unis won't be shelfsitters for long.
-
I've seen Blossom, Snuzzle and Butterscotch... once I saw Minty. And they appear in other isles of the toys, as if someone picked them up and walked around and put them down randomly-
I thin though what is happening is that they are all selling, and who is left depends on whether a couple of people got to Target before me and decided they needed one or two of them...
I am still dying to see Moondancer Firefly and Medley...
-
So where I live it is Butterscotch, but in John Lewis in Central London...they had three Bluebelles O.o. And practically nobody else...
-
At my local stores, one has no retro ponies whatsoever, the other has three Snuzzles and a Minty, and most other stores have rainbows, but only an occasional 1 or 2 collectors. I don't really consider any retro ponies shelf warmers. I think it's the Care Bears who are the true shelf warmers.
-
Really all of them are hanging out here. I've seen the same 8 ponies at one of the Targets near me for at least two months.
-
Snuzzle seems to be the main bench warmer here. There are two sitting on the shelf at one of my Targets and the other had one. I'm tempted to buy one and donate to a charity a person at my work runs that collects toys for disadvantaged children. My main concern is they might think $9.99 is too expensive for a donation.

What? Well its not like they need the receipt right? None of our charities ask for crap like that. And who cares? Its not their money being spent.

This is an idea actually. When I was working at the library, years back when G3 were on the shelves, the local town each Christmas had a toy drop and I would always buy a couple of G3 to put in the box. I figured I was helping the local population and potentially brainwashing kids to ponies at the same time :) I wonder if there is anything like that around this area now I've moved...if so, it would be nice to do something like that with a shelfwarmer pony.

Huh? Do you mean too cheap? I don't think $10 is too expensive or too cheap. I always donate stuff in the 10-20 price range, kids that don't have much just like getting a nice new toy sometimes.
