Just a fun little poll! I've been doing a lot of my family's wrapping (except for my gifts. I love surprises) so I've been trying to wrap all these weird shapes.
I'm someone who wraps everything, and I'll put a bow sometimes, but usually I just leave it alone for maximum ripping fun! The bows are pretty, and they're nice if you're giving someone one gift to cherish it, but it's a bit of an annoyance to take off!

I don't do Christmas, but for birthday gifts etc., a bag is the way to go. It's reusable for the recipient, easy for me, everyone wins.
-
I like putting things in pretty-looking cardboard boxes, the lid held in place with a fabric ribbon, just like how presents look in cartoons. That way, it's like the box is part of the present... Who doesn't need cardboard boxes? ^.^

I love wrapping gifts, it's part of the fun.
Most of the wrapping materials we use are re-cycled. I save bubble-wrap and tissue-paper - they are great for disguising the shape of things. Also hang onto any ribbon, pretty paper or little decorative things that can be tied on to decorate the parcel.

This!
I usually wrap my gifts, trying to find boxes for the most challenging shapes, but I sometimes use bags too. Bags are expensive, though, so I rarely buy any new ones but instead keep and recycle all the pretty ones I get.
I also add ribbons to all wrapped gifts, they just look a bit unfinished to me without. These days I try to avoid plastic ribbons, however - I'm a craft supply hoarder so I can usually find pretty alternatives! Yarn, satin ribbons, hemp string... Personalised tags complete the look. ^.^
As much as I like wrapping gifts, I don't consider myself very good at it - the actual wrapping process, I mean. The paper gets wrinkled at odd spots and I haven't come up with a way to get the tape look neat (or to wrap without using tape altogether, which would be even better).

This sums it up perfectly for me lol.

I wrap all the things, not so much with ribbons, but hey perhaps I sould wrap boxes, and use ribbons on those.

I wrap everything. I used to go with a theme when I was younger, like one year all my presents were wrapped in brown paper with white cotton strings, and another there were black paper with red glitter (the kind you put on your tree) and another it was red paper with white strings etc.
However these past few years I've bought ordinary wrapping paper as my energylevels are too low to be creative.
This year the only one getting presents is my husband as neither in my family wants any but it gave me room to go bazonkas  I bought him a sweater and with it I got a giftbox. However, the box is a bit big, it has room for everything else I bought him as well so technically I could just put everything in there, wrap it up and be done. BUT, being me, I have wrapped everything upp individually (including the sweater) before puttning them in the box and THEN I wrapped the box as well.. I thought it would be funnier that way. The more the merrier etc  :xmas:

Usually gift bags, especially during the year. Christmas it varies, some years are bags all the way, other years I feel like wrapping.
-
Passably? Its gonna get ripped open and tossed anyway.
-
It all depends on what it is that I'm gifting to someone. If it's something in a box, I wrap it. If it's not, it goes in a bag. Only once or twice have I put something in a box to wrap. And other times I don't even bother wrapping and just give it to the person like that.

I can and will wrap anything, shape regardless! Part of my previous job was gift wrapping kids' toys, so I've had plenty of experience of making nice-looking presents with weirdly-shaped items! I do have a bit of a weakness for pretty wrapping paper, though - there are so many nice designs out there, how do I choose?!
-
I’m terrible at wrapping and usually have to have some else wrap gifts for friends. I ginally learned how to make one side look neat but I can never get the other side to look nice and I have to resort to adding more pieces of paper to cover the gift

I know it's not environmentally friendly, but my favorite part of a holiday is wrapping gifts! I have so much fun and will buy/make as many gifts as possible so I can wrap them.
I usually just stick a pre-made bow and a to/from sticker on, but sometimes I'll do a ribbon, if I'm feeling fancy!
-
I like wrapping presents, but mostly, I just use nice wrapping paper, no bows. For my Secret Santa presents this year, I used wrapping paper and a gift bag. That's to make sure that both presents and the card all stay together and everyone knows who it's for.
-
I wrap 99% of what's given out. If I'm in the mood I'll do bows...
-
I "wrapped" a secret Santa gift by putting the gift in two halves of a hollow Styrofoam ball and using ribbon to tie the halves together-no tape or glue required. It looked like a snowball.
-
I wrap everything :) And I loooove bows and ribbons!

I wrap everything, and I'm a sucker for nice heavy weight paper. Also tape, helps keeps those pesky wrinkles away. Bows are if I find good ones if I don't then no bows. Hand curled ribbons, again if I can find the right kind of ribbon and if not I pass. Also, good quality scissors can make all the difference in cutting the paper.
My mom use to prank us, by choosing a gift and wrapping it in an unrelated box. One year my godmother got a hairdryer, in a microwave box.
