Very cool ;)
bigmlpfan xx

Very nice work!

Ah- speed paints :) I should get into doing that. Fast colour studies. I like to get a final output with art, but there's something to be said for forcing it out and just seeing what happens when you let go. Keep up with it :)
-
Those look great! I love speedpaints :)
-
thanks!
Akrillian it's also a great way to get out of art blocks. I'm in a semi-artblock atm, and need to get my act together as I've got some ATCs to do for people, among other things. So this loosens it up for me a bit ^^'
-
I do that too with pencil portraits. It's also good to remember form with :)
-
these are awesome! finally, i seem to understand the reason why people make speedpaints... i can totally see how you worked with the light, which is wonderful!

Those are so fun looking, especially since you put yourself under a time limit. I like the scenery one. :)

thank you!
it's very fun to do, and I want to get better at working with light etc.
all pictures are made in the same technique, but I feel like I'm working and improving on a lot of techniques in a way, if you understand what I mean x'D
SDS - thank you!
updated first post with a new one!

I like the new one? Naga?
-
naga indeed! thanks :3
-
ooh, naga!! neat! they need love too :lovey:

Oh my goodness, I remember killing hundreds of nagas when I was trying to farm for my ghost saber on my original hunter. Took me 3 hours before one spawned! I was so proud though. My toon was a dranei and I hated the elek mounts. So I went on the most outrageous rep grind of my life and managed to get exhaulted with the night elves before I hit 40. I bought the white leopard mount. I was the coolest lvl 40 on my server the day I dinged! XD That was back when hunter pets used to be able to run alongside you while you were mounted. It looked so awesome! And for giggles, I had a white kitten non-combat that would run too.
When I re-rolled horde, I liked the pet so much that I did it all over again! Only took about 20 minutes that time though.
-
LOL zenna, you did the SAME things as i did with my characters!!! :lmao:
i took 2-3 hours for that ghost saber... and then with my first draenei, i also hated the elekks and farmed reputation to get a saber mount!! (i think i had a dusk saber though)
-
lol girls! Had I been alli, I'd have totally done that, too. I might be lvling an alli atm, but I'm a hordie at heart lol
THough... the Pint-sized Pachyderm is a reeeally cute little bugger. (speaking of elekks)
Zenna - got screenshots? I'd love to see that :D

Interestingly, they used my picture for the glowing cat figurine on WoWWiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Glowing_Cat_Figurine). Still looking for the one with my spotted frostsaber

neat! that's so cool that they used your picture!
-
Please post it when you find it Zenna! Lovely kitty :D and nifty that you're on WoWWiki! x*D (you should totally ask them to give youcreds!)

It's no biggie, that was a looong time ago (Silya was my first toon ever and I started right after BC came out). I know I posted a SS on my guild forum when I got my mount, but I can't remember what my guild was called! :faint: It should still be on my old lappy, I'll have to see if I can pull the data off next time I'm at my dad's place :P
