Pony Corral / Re: Molded Hair G4's - Funko Pop Figures

Funko has been around for a long time, here's some background on the company:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funko

They would never produce something unless they have permission/rights to.....Funko has many, many licensed characters that they produce.....even bigger than MLP.

Love these! :) I feel like Funko has definitely been delivering with their acquired franchises as of late, and this is just the icing on the cake as far as getting my attention. I can't wait to see more MLP characters from them.

There's a chain of comic stores around here that typically has an entire section dedicated to Funko products, I'll have to hit a few of them up once they're officially out.

Mandy~ have you seen the GoT Funko PoPs pics yet? Series 1 is coming soon and series 2 has already been announced! Deanerys PoP comes with a baby dragon!!

Dinobuzz: EqD links don't show up here on the forums, unfortunately!

Here's the forum post that the EqD article links to. Cool stuff!

I didn't realize that the link didn't work....regardless, they're going all over with this topic. I saw the Funko thread.....there another one as well.

This RD is the finished piece and not a prototype.....when they do get release the price should be approx. $20 or less.

Guess the news travels fast:

I've asked my fellow funkofunatics about that auction and if it's a proto....let you know what they say.....but there was news/rumour of Funko  making MLP's in the near future!

I know more about PoPs, which run from $10-$12.50 and are found at places like, B&N, Chapters (CDN), HMV, Target, Futureshop, Best Buy, variety of Comic stores, and many other places including Disney. There are several online stores like Gemini that sell Funko products. As for this MLP figure, not exactly sure but you could post questions on their FB page:

I heard they were coming out on the funko forum I belong to as I collect PoPs. The MLP figures are actually not PoPs! but are made by Funko (who makes Wacky Wobblers, PoP!'s and vinyl figures).

Here's a link to an online store who sells Funko products....on this page, the MLP protos are available so far:

Here's the actual Funko website:

No, there is no problem with you. It's just a forum trick. If you quote someone who looks like they are talking about you, you'll see the [ you ] in their post. Everyone sees their own name. You see your name in my signature, I see my name in my signature. I am not talking to myself, I'm not talking to you - I'm just using the [ you ] trick.

Apparently, you see something different if you look at the post when you are not logged in.

Holy pony...I came across a post by FlitterPony (who I don't know) and saw her siggie with my name in it....hummm okay....then after some searching, I came across this thread and saw my names many times more....I'm thinking, WT? I'm not on here that much and pony peeps I don't know are asking me questions....now that I've found out WHY, I feel better.... okay, done now. lol!

I have no words...just nothing

I mean...what?

This!!!!! ...just.....why?!

Ditto on this! Just odd and creepy...... not sure I fancied the way he was stroking his ponies..... but if he considers it art, so be it..... art is open for interpretation....
