Title: My third rescue pony!
Post by: freezestime on February 22, 2019, 10:57:08 PM
I found another G3 pony at the same place I found G4 Styling Shining Armour!

She's mostly okay, her ribbon coming from her cutie mark is in gorgeous condition but her 3D cutie mark has a bit of paint missing and something chewed her left ear but her head rotates! I think she's from 2007.

Edit: She's from the 2006 line Cutie Cascade, hers name's Blushie and she probably has tail rust.

She sounds lovely; tail rust is fixable - don't stress!

Her tail had stains

And the pink flower had some paint missing

After washing her hair in shampoo and conditioner, I learnt that her mane was damaged. +1 Flaw

To fix the damage, I decided to straighten her hair.

Then I learnt her mane has been chopped in certain places. +1 Flaw

And that there seems to be a factory defect where a strain of hair in the front of the mane was put into another hole, resulting in a hair loop that was pretty strong. +1 Flaw

She could be in better condition but for now, I welcome her into the Rescue Gang.

Congrats! She looks a lot better clean. You can also curl hair to hide trims and frizz :)

She has still tidied up well for you to display. I bet she would have some stories to tell if she could talk!  So glad she has a lovely new home.  Congrats on finding her

Thank you everyone! I'll keep her safe and I'll look into restoring methods (plus cheers for the suggestion Safflower, I'll try it out)

Whitening toothpaste seems to be the only one that removes tail rust. It works wonders, I usually just smother the rusty part of the tail with it and wash it right off :)
