Species-Swapping Ponies

Are there earth ponies you think should have been unicorns? Unicorns that should have been pegasi? Pegasi that should have been earth ponies? What are ponies that you think a change of race would suit best?

It kinda bothers me that starting in year 5 of G1, there are 6 pony sets with 1 unicorn, 1 pegasus, and 4 earth ponies. It should be 2-2-2! For example, with the sparkle ponies, I think Napper would be good as a unicorn, and Sky Rocket would be a cute pegasus. And for the wave 1 TAF's, Up Up & Away as a pegasus and Love Melody as a unicorn.

Also, the balance in G3 is way off. Starbeam has all the makings of a unicorn, and Waterfire would make a very striking pegasus.

I like how unique Gusty is. but I can see her as a pegasus as well.
I would have liked to see some unicorns and pegasi in the birthflower lines but I still like them.
Once, I drew Windwhistler as a unicorn and Fizzy as a pegasus. It worked pretty good but i like the reverse better.

Maybe mimic would make a good pegasus? Or Good weather?

Beachball could have been an earth pony, she's gonna poke the ball otherwise!
I'd love to see Mainsail as a pegasus.

i feel like Truly would have made a CUTE pegasus. like a little cupid....<3
fizzy doesn't seem like a unicorn to me...more earth pony. speedy too, matter of fact. why would she need rollerskates if she just had magic? LOL. 

plus...it would be really cute to see zig zag on a pony mold as opposed to weird midget zebra. oh, theres an idea for my next custom!

I think Sunbeam would have been a cute pegasus, as well as Skyflier.  SS Buttons and Fifi could have worked well as earth ponies.

Yeah, with a name like Skyflier, you'd think she'd be a pegasus!

I've also always wondered why later G1 sets only gave us one pegasus and one unicorn. Were earth ponies just more popular or were there molds easier to create? I guess that explains why I had more earth ponies than pegasi or unicorns!

I want teeny tiny baby unicorns and pegasus! I don't know who is who but I need it. I think Sky Rocket would be great as unicorn and Love Melody as pegasus. And Night Glider as unicorn maybe.
