The only thing I can hope at this point is they look better in person because right now the pictures just make them look fugly.

The clothing is cheesy and those boots...no.

And still with that cheap one long bit of rattail hair...cheap cheap cheap.

If they really are looking to dig at Monster High, and it still very much appears to me that they are, I don't understand why they didn't make these dolls jointed. That's a big part of the appeal of that line.

Or at least more interesting clothes or a gimmick, like Novi Stars.

I guess these are kinda what I expected-  except that Twilight looks really terrible with her head squished down on her neck and with the unpainted mold showing under her dress???

But maybe these are early prototypes too.  Companies do mock ups all the time, right?

Monster high has taste in their designing and I don't even care for the MH line. These MLP dolls have way too much going on with the face. Molded clothing is a no. These are supposed to be for the older generation. This is more along the lines of younger tween polly pocket.

Well color me severely disappointed. No articulation, and the faces are still devoid of any kind of personality.
